Planet of lana is one of the most beautiful, 2d platformers in a long time, not displaying the interactive graphical design of the Ori games, but instead offering its very own look . A series of beautiful interludes into through provoking puzzles that does its best to channel prior games in the genre but offer its own spin. www.acgamer.net/post/planet-of-lana-is-incredible I buy a copy of every game, vr helmet, console, or tech item I review so my money is on the line like yours are we don't run a ton of ads or sponsors. Due to that it can be hard to fight the algo. So if you want to help thumbs this up, subscribe and check out the patreon. www.patreon.com/AngryCentaurGaming

A "like" for the Flashback reference. Also, I really appreciate the in depth analysis of the audio presentation (both music and sound effects). For me, audio is an equal third of the gaming experience, alongside gameplay and visuals, and not enough reviewers focus on providing detail on that portion of a game. You've convinced me to give this game a try. Good work!

Fantastic review of a beautiful game. I finished Planet of Lana just last night and haven't stopped thinking about it all day. If anyone is considering Game of the Year blind spots, this should be right at the top of their list. Only 4-5 hours long, available now on Gamepass, delivers quality throughout - just get on it. Without wanting to ramble, Planet of Lana does things and goes places I never would've expected. It's pure magic.

It will be decades before they understand the brain is an etheric receiver. Second, Silicon based Consciousness is completely different from Carbon based Consciousness. It *isn’t* driven by greed or fear the way humans are. Third, there are already many advanced species/civilizations where AI runs the planet. Application always trumps any fear-based “theory”. Great game, very chill. So many games now seem like they're trying to punish the player with how difficult they are. When you get to be old like me and your dexterity isn't what it once was, that can suck. Instead, Planet of Lana focuses on the majesty of the game world and guides you gently through its twists and turns. Solving the mostly relatively simple environmental puzzles still gives the satisfaction you crave but without pulling your hair out in the mean time. It also doesn't wear out its welcome, clocking in at roughly 4-5 hours. The score is also very soothing and epic when it needs to be. 5/5.

I don't think this game is ever coming to PS5. This was a partnership between XB, Thunderful, and Wishfully. I am pretty sure the exclusivity is permanent

@GKN Ko I haven"t seen a game from third party indies that is exclusive to Xbox. Only timed exclusive, then it comes to PS5 or switch. But if that's the case, ok.

@@kostasbousbouras2654 Actually, there’s a lot of indies that might never release on PlayStation such as Rogue Legacy, Ori games, Scorn, Planet of Lana, The Gunk, The Last Case of Benedict Fox, and a few others. These games were partner supported through ID @ Xbox. We might see a few switch releases though Sony do have their own exclusive indies that won’t release on Xbox like Kena; Goodbye Volcano High, Humanity, Rollerdrome, and more

This game could have been stunning on the Nintendo 3DS a la the majestic Castlevania Mirror of Fate. 3D would have elevated these visuals to god tier. Alas......

I love a game with a good score. How does it compare to Ori soundtrack wise. To me that/those games were defined by their amazing soundtracks. I just finished playing both of them again for like the 6th time
