Well getting it gifted to you or buying it with money used from your content I assume. It's not a negative thing against angry Joe I've actually been begging him to play this more. I just found it ironic to be fighting the stalker with his own weapon before he even kills him. And hunhows gift is one of the worst packs to buy for this game in my opinion due to the fact you need a Kubro and a ship to use half of the items.

It's not one of the worst packs. It's one of the best, if not the best. You get an amazing sword (2nd best two handed sword in the game) and armor that you can use. And even if you can't use dog armor and scimitar skin in the beginning, you still have them so you can use them when you eventually get them.

This quest was awesome, but make no mistake - this is the most story we've gotten out of it so far. There's a few more quests and they're good, but The Second Dream was the exception not the rule. Mostly, Warframe is just playing regular missions on the starmap over and over again. It's very much a grind game with collect 'em all elements regarding the gear. Here's hoping to another excellent showing when The War Within comes out.

People complaining Warframe is grindy. Well to a certain extent it is. It is basically an ARPG 3rd person hybrid. Think Diablo in 3rd person, kill, loot, upgrade, kill, loot, upgrade that is what you are going to be doing. You are going to spend a lot of time upgrading your mods and fave kits with forma. So if you don't like ARPGs and loot hunting, this is NOT the game for you. But IMO, WF has a much lower barrier of entry compared to most MMO ARPGs or RPGs that is for sure. It is complex sure, but it isn't as complex as many MMORPGs out there. Also WF doesn't have immense skill diversity per frame, 1 frame has 4 skills + 1 focus and maybe the melee stance of your choice vs to "true RPGs" where 1 char has many skills. Instead it spreads them to multiple frames / classes. That is it's unique point. In fact it can be compared to the old Mass Effect 3 multiplayer. If you played ME3 MP, this will be very familiar. Weapon damage mods (ammo types) and skill restrictions per class all come to mind. And ME3 MP played exactly the same way, loot until you get the gun you desired and upgrade it to X. :P But with less chest high walls and more movement options due to your frame being very agile. And of course mods to further make your class/frame of choice stand out. So if you liked Mass Effect 3 MP, this is the game i can recommend. If you like ARPGs, yes this is good for you too. But if you hate grinding steer clear.

Joe, in Warframe, the mods are the true core of this game, you can perdonalize everything, attack, armor, powers, even change the way your powers work with Augment mods.

Your character's head actually determines body type. There are male heads and female heads, but the difference isn't as extreme as in most video games so people used to all males being bulky and all females being only bulky in the chest area have trouble telling them apart.

It's not mandatory to run with friends, You can run with randoms or a clan too. Yeah, the 3 day wait is a pain especially after farming but it's still a F2P game. It's still one of the best out there and certainy with great bussiness model and ways of getting the premium stuff for non-paying players. And if You want low level people who won't speedrun while You just enjoy the game then ask on a recruitment chat and You'll get plenty of those trying to get on raids and lvl 70 sorties with basic Excalibur and MK1 guns. xD

Not mandatory, mods help you a lot (Use youtube for mod guides) i almost exclusively play solo, and its not that hard to do. That being said! Certain things like raids, require you to play with friends

Spoilers time! The Tenno were Orokin children aboard a ship called the Zariman Ten Zero (ten-oh, hence the name Tenno) that was lost during a jump through the Void. When the ship was found again, only the children remained on-board- and had somehow developed amazing psychic powers. As the Orokin were badly losing the war against the Sentients, who were easily adapting to the best weapons the Orokin could make, they set about using these Tenno as weapons, finding out that the children could focus their wild powers best when asleep and dreaming. So the Orokin built Warframes for the Tenno to psychically inhabit and channel their powers through as the children slept in stasis in the Reservoir on the Moon. Eventually the Tenno won the fight and drove off the Sentients, but as the Orokin prepared an honor ceremony for them, the Tenno- for reasons few remember- wiped out the entirety of the Orokin leadership, which sent their civilization spiralling into chaos and eventually ruiniation. As that happened, an agent named Natah who had been sent to infiltrate the Orokin and destroy the Tenno instead came to see them as her own children; she renamed herself the Lotus, hid the entire Moon in the Void, placed the Warframes in cryostasis and made herself the guide for any Tenno who awakened.

Actually the real content and background for the stories the game tells are actually pretty damn good. Especially the stuff revolving around how the factions ended up getting created. Of course I have no idea what story you would consider good, but I figure if you paid attention to what's going on you may actually find it interesting (unlike most people who hear "kill all the things" and don't pay attention to jack).

It is not very consistent when it comes to killing bosses, kill alad v , then kill mutalist alad v, kill captain vor, kill captain vor again, then kill corrupted cpt. vor...it's like bosses never die.

That's not the story -_- The story is the quest lines. Those(bossfights that you can repeat) are gameplay elements. I'm talking about things like the Archwing quest, Natah, Second Dream, and upcoming War Within(didn't even realize she namedropped that cause I played it right after its release).

People actually like this game? Was fun when i tried it for a few hours but the grind set in waaaaaaay too fast and the pvp is a mess at best. Such a shame cause the core gameplay was tight and the lore seemed interesting enough.

Also I don't quite get the Minecraft comment, is it not just one giant pointless grind? Vargles No plenty of new comers jump into the game and have no problem getting to things they want to do. You're in the minority here. There's massive amount of content in the game. Playing for 2 hours doesn't mean you're going to get automatically rewarded. It's still one of the top F2P games today with one of the least P2W systems.

The tenno (operator *your character) is on the moon in transference so they can't protect themselves without the warframe staying there. The reason it's in the void is because Sentients cannot come in the void, that is why the Stalker is there to help Hunhow kill the Tenno.
