My feeling too. Because of all his stage antics, the music elite tends to dismiss him as a serious guitarist. But he masters intuitively the right notes to play including sound effects. His stage antics are great, it brings dynamism, entertainment ,energy and fun. He is a guitarist/ front man. He has also lasted the distance. I think he is underestimated as a top guitarist/entertainer. Not by the public, but the elitists.

Angus is a god, hands down and such a beautiful person ! For me, he is THE guitarist, made me pick up the guitar and fell in love with it, always impresses me, and he is such a humble, normal both feet on the ground guy ! I love him, he is and will forever be the greatest !

I would absolutely never consider him even CLOSE to a god. He def has the “rock” genre nailed. To me though, he’s super simple, over rated, and sloppy as fuck. I could name 100 guitarists that are so much better than him. Just my opinion. I also like AC/dc too. They are absolutely a one trick pony though.

I was front row for AC/DC with High School buddies in 77 in San Antonio Texas what a fuking show. The Freeman Coliseum was like a smoke bomb went off inside. Never will Forget that show.

Although I would hardly call myself a hard or heavy rock fan as I'm classical guitarist I'm not able to resist ACDC and Angus cause theyre more than just an specific music genre. When I first got this on Napster, yes Napster....years ago, it was slowed down for some reason. I put the speed on .85 and for some reason I like it better. Malcolm's rhythm guitar just hits me much harder at that speed.

@bandslater Believe it or not, Angus actually does use the Major scale quite a bit, yet even he doesn't realize it. He said he never learned theory. Back In Black's solo is in D Major. The first part of the solo is G Lydian, then to B Aeolian, then C# Locrian, then D Ioanian. U get the idea...
