UPDATED! Automatic Watering System 2 0 | RUST | Electronic Circuit Guide
Todays video is a 2.0 version of the automatic sprinkler system in RUST. The old system with the memory cell doesn't work now because the pump has been updated and had the "pump off" widget removed. It looks like a tricky circuit to put together but its not. I will show you how to link all of the RUST electricity components together and you will be watering your crops in no time.
This automatic sprinkler system can be tuned so your crops get the right amount of water depending on what you set the timer switches to. Super set up tips and tricks guide if you're working on your plant genetics or just saving some food for a rainy day. Either way its a super addition to your Rust farming base.

Control improvement: flip branches outputs, and configure 4(left) and 2(right). Doing this, it doesn't matter your input, all the "remaining" energy goes to the last splitter and you know how much energy you need.

If you have trouble setting the right timer: Disconnect the 'Toggle On' on the right timer (it was connected to the 'Power Out 1' on the right splitter). Now wait for it to complete its cycle and you should be able to adjust the time by holding 'E' on it whilst holding a wiring tool (in the video it's set to 180sec). Now reconnect the 'Toggle on' on the right timer to the 'Power Out 1' of the right splitter.

When I first tried using this I was using 4 solar panels and a small battery, and that didn't work, then I replaced the small with a medium battery and it worked without flaw! If you're having issues with the circuit not working, try upsizing batteries or more power.

the right timer switch might be inactive? if its not lit up, try a separate power source in the bottom of the right branch :-)

@@AniCodYT No, I had the same thing happen, both timers stay on permanently. Go onto a server and follow just your video while ignoring any other knowledge you have. You will find very clearly that the steps laid out in the video don’t work. And yes, I tried adjusting the branch power according to the pinned comment. I cannot for the life of me figure out why you skip the branch configuration on every video because you act like it’s boring. It’s not boring, it’s crucial to the build. Include every detail. This video is completely useless for a beginner. Thanks for the wasted hour setting up a non-working system.

I would set the left to 60 and the right to 180 but it all depends on your crops, number of sprinklers and size of planters... try a few numbers out and you can adjust later

Its a little buggy sometimes for some reason. Use a separate power source into the right electrical branch and you should be golden

no only because the planters hold water so you should just fill your planter to the max then every so often see if it needs water

too many variables :-( if you had the exact same crops in each with the same genetics then it would be worth doing but the chances of that bare minimal. The best thing to use this for is to top up a planter with water every so often to make sure its 100%

I had the sprinklers set up to always keep the pots full but the plants water stat would not go above 75% so i had to let them dry to about 8000l to get them to 100% water stat. Is that how it should be?

no you can just keep adding components into the same circuit until you hit either water limit or electricity limit in which case just upgrade something. go as big as you like :-)

im new to rust so i may be missing something but ive followed your guide and only one of the timers works only once though as soon as I use the switch, then it turns red. The other one has no lights unless i set the left brancher to 4-5 but only turns red and does nothing. I use one large solar panel connected to a small battery if that helps. I have 3 total solar panels so maybe I could connect them all into a small battery but I have no idea. If you see this I am MALARKEY in your discord server if u want me to screen share or some shit.

sometimes it gets a little buggy. you can use a second power source into the bottom of the right branch. that should get everything working :-) ..... try a medium or large battery. the output should be enough to power the circuit
