Gulliver in city folk: It’s cold, dark, lonely in space. There’s nothing there besides the bitter truth of our own mortality, leaving you paralyzed in fear by the very notion that you could meet a slow, painful death at any time, meeting a lonely demise amongst nothing but cold rocks in an endless void. An eternal death with no one to know. But we know not what lies beyond the stars, so is it not worth risking our lives to potentially make contact with beings from worlds beyond our own? Is it foolish to find solace in knowing we are not alone in this universe?
