I was very disappointed when I though the “net-walk”, as I like to call it, was patched out of the game. While I'm glad it's still doable, I do miss being able to do it anywhere, even in Main Street or even in OOB locations to travel even further OOB.

2:25 That might be because you can only jump into the water when there's swimmable water in front of you. It's probable that the area beyond the buoys isn't programmed to be swimmable, so you can't swim out beyond it. Unless there's a glitch that lets you swim out there anyway, but I don't know of any that would do so.

I actually discovered a glitch in New Leaf today! If you build a snowman and if it’s in front of a bush, the snowman will de-spawn when you walk into a building or go to Main Street. Anything that the snowman was built on top of such as a flower or item, that too is gone forever. It’s really annoying if you have a lot of bushes in your town. I wouldn’t recommend trying it though as you will waste your two snow balls for the day.

Pretty sure the reason you can't jump into the water at the end of the bridge is because past that little section isn't considered water anymore, and you can't dive into non-water. So it's not really foresight on the devs part, more just accidental.

I used to net glitch with my friends all the time. Before the patch, if you net glitched onto the tracks, then walk to the bridge, you could use the net glitch again to go into the area you tried to jump into. A really cool thing was if you used the slingshot or a net sneak out of bounds, the game would act as if you were still in bounds, but wouldn't load your character. It was really crazy.

I had a weird glitch happen to me once last year in New Leaf when I was visiting a Dream Town. I went through the process of getting to the Dream Town like normal but when I arrived in the town I selected my character woke up on the train track bridge and I was actually stuck there. I could move around freely but I couldn't enter the town itself. There was an invisible wall blocking me from doing so I was only able to freely move about on the train bridge and the normal train track. The normal, in-game barricades that usually go down when a train was coming were up but that darn invisible wall still prevented me from going into the town despite that. In order for me to fix the glitch I had to return Luna, the Dream Town lady, and reawaken in my town and return to that dream town i was in. After i did that, I woke up in the same dream town, that originally glitched on me, normally. That was my first and only time ever having New Leaf glitch on me before!

Here's a Smash Ultinate glitch if you ever get around to making a video about the game again. I dont know if this has been documented yet, but if you play as Sonic, and use his up special right as a mini mushroom spawns above you, Sonic will fly towards the blast zone and stay there for a good 15 seconds before falling down.
