Wow!! I don't remember this rumor, but it sounds super terrifying! 😂 I do remember the Resetti rumor and experienced what I thought was confirmation of the rumor first hand. I had a habit of shutting my GameCube off before saving 🤦🏻‍♀️ and one day when Resetti popped out he had enough. I don't remember exactly what he said, but my screen went pitch black. I freaked out, thinking my game was being erased. Suddenly, everything came back and he admitted to joking and may have said something about going too far. It was AWFUL. I screamed whenever I would see him pop up after that and my poor little sister was terrified of Animal Crossing for years because of my screaming 😬

I think he should be the town thug. A mugger and burglar who’s a repeat offender and always in jail. Turns out the reason for his crimes are that he doesn’t have a trade, and has to commit crime to get by. You can help him, either by teaching him a trade, or helping him get away with a major crime, like a bank robbery, (which he pays you generously for your help) and setting him for life so he doesn’t commit any more crimes.

I remember my older sister made up this claim where the characters on the wanted posters inside the police station could actually enter the town. They would enter via one of the trains that passes through the town from time to time. What it was claimed would happen is if you were near the train station at that time, a cutscene would play where one of the wanted villagers would run off the train and shove past you. You then had to chase them down and turn them in to Copper and Booker.

I’ve actually never herd of Brutus (probably because the og game was before my time) but my friends did tell me something kinda like Brutus but for city folk or wild world(I can’t remember witch one sorry) I don’t fully remember what they said but it was something along the line of don’t play at night on the first day of the start for a season They said a villager would move in during that night but only for the first night of the new season and most likely said the villager did what Brutus did Looking back at it was probably something that they made up or saw on a forum but it was so shocking to me I never played at nights

Hey, in animal crossing amiibo Blanca has a face. I just visited her campground/RV truck I saw that she has a face. The description at the bottom of the screen says “sure, she likes to stir up trouble around town. But when you see her out relaxing at the campground, she looks...well, she still looks creepy.” The other thing is that her face is drawn on, she doesn’t blink or make facial expressions.

I mean, we have Animal Forest, Animal Forest +, Animal Forest e+, and Animal Crossing Population: Growing!. I know nintendo would never incorporate fan made stuff like this, specially when it's based off rumors that probably scared a lot of kids back then lmao but I just love the idea of Brutus... So I like to think that the fandom has adopted and adapted him. From scary, to just a tiny bit creepy, comedic and wholesome. His thing would be that he's perceived as scary and shady at first bc he's aloof and often needs help, but he's actually a really nice and laid back character

bro in new horizons on halloween night, you could run into the creature known as brutus. hed be in front of your house, no matter what not facing you. then he would turn around and slowly walk towards you, your character does a scarred animation as he gets closer every second until uttering these words "hello there, my names brutus." I remeber me and my sister both had Nintendo ds’s and mine was pink and I had 3D moshi monsters stickers on the front 🥺 those days 🥺 Hers was red that was it 😂 But she was about 11 then if I was 6 I can’t remember exactly how old But I think becuase we were that young, possible younger idk cos It was my 8th birthday when I got my 3DS and got acnl EITHER that Christmas or my next birthday, think it was Christmas But yeah That was like 2011-2013 I think so I guess I was too young to have heard about it 😅 I have a bad memory but I definitely would’ve remembered Brutus

Nintendo should make all of this real in animal crossing new horizons, and after the first time you see him he is a villager in every town you make. On the 5th time, he would get arrested by the police dog and you would get your original town back. And you could visit him in jail if you want to do that again, but you still get your town back in the end.
