The reason for this is because all three of those animals, Fox, tiger and panda, have there secret hideout places. They made them cost gems to make those places easier the access, and more active

Honestly I was really disappointed and very upset when this update came out, it’s great for new jammers and all but it just completely crushed the felling of the fox place being special. My main look is a fox, it honestly kinda sucks. It ruined the fox and wolf thing, it’s hard to explain but I’m sure you understand, it’s the fox and the wolf that are the two main and good animals. And now Aj decides to make one of them gems? It’s just not the same. Many people both in the comments and on Aj are either happy because they didn’t have one, or upset because they spent money on one. I’m perfectly fine that I spent sapphires on it, it was a long time ago and I’m glad I’ve had one all this time. It just made it so much less special to have one.

Not on purpose but it’s kinda like picking a movie with siblings, not everyone is always going to agree or be happy about the decision. Aj has done a lot of questionable things, not really trying to upset people but it happens. Kinda like adding so many dogs and cats to the game, half the people were upset, half were happy about it. I think I’m this situation the majority of people are happy about foxes being gems, I’m not one of those people, but that’s just my opinion.

Honestly it was a pretty good update, I'm actually pretty happy that they added foxes to the game again and boom made it for gems. I've been wanting a fox for so long and now i have one i actually have 3 foxes not just one, i bought 3 foxes just in case if they leave again. Plus the more foxes you buy the more exspensive it becomes same goes with the tiger and the panda, its true it happended with me when i was buying a few foxes. I think this is one of the best updates i respect those who don't like the update as much tho.

I personally dislike it. The fox hideout, which was an amazing place for trading to many jammers, is filled with jammers who don’t know how to trade. Although it might sound rude to exclude others, it’s not really a trading place if nobody knows how to trade. Edit: I don’t actually go into the fox lair so idk if this is even accurate lol

I think it's fine. I get that some people are going to be frustrated because they purchased bundles that cost a lot of sapphires. But in the end, animals can't be traded so there is no reason for them to be rare in a sense (unless you want to be showy and look all rare) and let's be honest, this is a kid's game, so things are going to be unpredictable often times.

I'm personally happy about it because I came up with a cool outfit idea for the fox shortly after they left stores so I wasn't able to do it, nor could I have bought it for 1000 sapphires because I didn't have that many at the time. I understand why some people are disappointed though, because I also like playing as the Lynx as not many people have one which makes it feel special.

I can see it from both sides As people who can’t afford sapphires or is new to the game its great as now they have more animal options to choose And people who paid sapphires for it before the currency was changed to gems they probably feel disappointed because it took time to earn those sapphires or just had to spend actual money to get it just to get the animal to then be slapped in the face once it was announced that it was being sold for gems all that time or money wasted

As someone who bought the bundles years back, i dont really care that foxes came back with gems, i feel that its actually good, nowadays i feel like the game is very friendly for new jammers with now compared to back then, for example i was in the game when the my shops were accessible to members only though now with the my shop explorer, non members can access shops while having an easier time searching with the new explorer. For me who has a fox as one of my main animals to use, its just a comfort character for me, arctic wolves were a little off but the foxes really just became my fav animal along with the seal.

I umderatand both sides of the argument but I feel like they shouldve added less played animals. The panda and tiger arent played very often so it's good that they made these animals for gems so more people would play them but foxes are literally like the main animal, next to arctic wolf ofc. I think instead of the fox they shouldve had all 3 animals be less played animals like have the limit instead of the fox since the lemur isn't as commonly played, or the lion because the lion is also barely ever played. People still woulve been happy if it were the tiger, panda, and lemur or tiger, panda, and lion. So yea that's my opinion on the situation

I think it's not really bad update it's even good for animal jam itself even tho I spent a lot of sapphire to buy foxes but this is still a good thing for animal jam going forward, because yes we all know that animal jam is a game that is targeted for a kid's and it's "not really good" if kid spend their money only for games and not everyone can afford it, after all, there are lots of games that make their new players feel the premium things in the game by giving them gifts or discounts, for example giving them rare items and giving gems for free or make their game items affordable because again not everyone can afford it and so their games can stay alive

I didnt really enjoy these features that much, as yall know aj had been making more of the member features for nonmembers which i think is cool for the nonmembers to be able to try them but i also think isnt very good at the same time. I'm a member in aj and each month I pay *REAL* money for membership. Aj already made shops and pet stations for nonmembers, in my opinion membership isnt worth the money anymore, almost all the member features are nonmember. Yes, I know that its nice for nonmembers to try these member things but really, now theres no point in getting membership and thats really disappointing.

I understand why some people people are upset while some others are excited i mean yeah some people cost real money for the foxes and now its for gem but in the other side its good bc now people can have cool animals without spending their money so for me it has its own good and bad and to be honest i know that i cant feel the same thing as you guys bc obviously i am a classic player but yeah, im not blaming anyone to be mad and excited and i think ajhq is making the decision in a hurry and for you guys who are upset just think about the positivity your nm friends can now buy foxes without money i know its hard but just be happy for them thats what friends do and for you guys who are excited you might find some of your member friends upset about this so just be by their side and try to make them feel better as a friend i hope things actually getting better for all of us bye.

I think the foxs shouldnt of costed gems, the fox used to be very rare and special but now ehh
