Animal Jam Keeps Bringing Reskins..

I personally like the reskins because it just brings back the old animals, yet preserves the old animals as well! I was a bit upset sheep came back, as I always thought of it as a very old animal, but the newer jammers will most likely be happier!

I think it’s genuinely great they came, I was waiting for them for so long! but I definitely do think all the pattern animals add something special to older animals that make them more fun to use. Although I do think that we’ve got a decent amount for now and we could save the next one until the summer at least.

ive noticed that for the past two super boxes, that month's animal has been a reskin. i assume this is just to save resources since both these months also brought/are bringing a new dinosaur, so i think in the long run it's probably for the best that they do save time by recoloring existing animals when needed (brings back old animals for new players, and allows aj to put more effort into the actual next animal/takes some weight off their shoulders when there's already a big update that month)

Honestly, it would have been nicer if they gave a discount to those who already had the animals, but made it an optional skin, but for people who didn't have the animal, just to pay for it as every other animal. Personally I was a bit disappointed when I saw all the "reskins" but after looking back at them it does give a bit of nostalgia and most of them are quite cute, and totally helps give AJ some time to finish other things to make sure they execute it well!

For pokémon Scarlet and Violet. This guy said this and it really hit me. He said I'd rather go to a five-star movie and have something miniscule happen like an interruption or something versus going to a one-star movie That really sucks and has no interruptions. So even though this game's really laggy, it's a five-star game. That's the point and not even though pokémon sword and shield didn't have as much lag, it wasn't an open world game and it didn't contain as much content and this is well-rounded and I love Team Violet lol

Adding to the Scarlet and Violet one, I also think people don't fully understand when they complain because think about it: Scarlet and Violet is the first ever game (at least main game) to be both fully open world and have pokemon with unique texturing to them (for example magnemite having shimmery metal texture) and to do all that in the time they also used for say sword and shield I personally think it's really impressive and is definitely worth the lag and glitches!

I love that you didn't just complain about the reskins. I really love them and I know that they're going to bring a lot of new players and for the old players that don't like the new they can just get out because this game needs to make an income and everyone deserves to have their own opinion but not when it it's made up like most people like to reminisce in the past and make things up and talk about the good old days when the good old days were never even good days and they're actually pretty generic Animal Jam is finally starting to become something big like really big like I see them being like a really, really, really big. They wouldn't be purchased for 10.4 million if they didn't have any intentions to be big. Themed animals are also really great because when they bring back pets through tokens we don't have to worry about them bringing back our Racoon pet for 150 sapphires when we spent $6.99 Canadian for one token. Instead, they bring back these new versions of these pets, which I actually really love and it keeps the original safe

the rainbow raccoon is so gay i love it, been savin my sapphires for it i love how creative it is, they very easily could have just made a rainbow patterned raccoon, but they went the extra step and actually gave it a rainbow tail, i hope we get more creative reskins instead of just slappin a pattern onto an animal

Okay, let’s consider some things here. First of all, with the release of the Fab 5 tokens, it’s basically like releasing 4 new animals due to the small amount of people that have them. The Rainbow Raccoon isn’t the only animal that was initially released in this month’s update. Also, I can assume, let’s take Classic in this matter. Classic has many reskins, and the Rainbow Raccoon was a very popular item on Classic’s behalf. Like any video game company, they considered reskins and dollar signs appeared in their eyes, similar with the heavy demand for old animals which led to the tokens. Also, the Spring Bunny didn’t initially cost money. It was a free promotion, which seems fair, doesn’t it? They’re not asking for money, just for you to play their game, in a way. Also, taking the Spring Bunny and Arctic Wolf out of the picture, raccoons and coyotes have been in huge demand for years. By releasing reskins, they profit off of it, and that satisfies the demand with the animals. Spooky snow leopards are easily one of the most beloved animals on Classic. Also, ironically, on the Jammer wall I suggested Animal Jam to make a wolf the month before October. And boom, a wolf reskin? Probably just a coincidence, and probably trying to leech onto Spooky Snow Leopard’s Success. Also, the Animal Jam team is probably well aware of the success of the sugar glider. Many people would flock to buy a pet to get as close to their dream pet on possible. However, a pet is not as big as a commitment to an animal bundle. And the Snowlight Manor, I would consider it more of a way to get back ‘in’ with the Animal Jam community. As anyone who visited the Jammer Wall in the time before the Halloween update, they noticed the voting. AJHQ doesn’t have that good of a relationship with the community currently, so releasing a reskin of a beloved den seems ideal. These are my opinions on the reskins, and my reasoning.

Loved the reskins on the original AJ, I used to glitch them to get different pattern colors (legit had +400 animals) Never liked them on PW since they cost sapphires which are the membership money XD I was okay with waiting for new animals and updates and getting reskins but we all know what happened to AJ in the past few years C: which drove me to quit but I still have all of my children's pictures and will eventually turn my favorite ones into original characters I loved the snowy sugar glider at the end of the video, it's so cute :0 I quit but still watch your videos, low-key kinda dragging me back into AJ pff

In my personal opinion, I dislike the reskins since they were old and 'rare' in a special way. Most people expect a new animal every month. The reskins seem slightly lazy by ajhq. There's too many of them. It's slightly annoying. Thats just my opinion though ✨

The first few reskins when they originally came out were cool and a refreshing look for animals we've seen for years but I really feel as if Animal Jam is just milking the hype factor those animals initially brought and are just repeating the same thing and expecting the same results. Though I feel like there is a downside to it, as the fact is that their not releasing a new animal for the month. I would like the reskins better if it was like what they did with the spring bunny. Actually, Pokemon tend to be working on future generations way before the actual games come out... Like right now, they're probably beginning to work on Gen 11 and have already finished up working on Gen 10 for all we know

With the recolored animals they are there for the people who don't have one such as the racoon and the coyote but the thing is that there's already a rabbit and Arctic wolf in the game I love the spooky Arctic wolf but I prefer the OG one the most I think in my opinion animal jam headquarters are mainly running out of ideas with these reskin avatars along with the legendary eagles such as the lava and the amethyst eagles people got mad when they were out and about before they left I don't see why animal jam has to run out of options and ideas to be honest with you

I honestly didn't care that much about reskins, I think they're cool. Until they brought the rainbow raccoon. AJHQ just keeps adding stuff that's on Classic. I primarily play Classic, so this bothers me. I want them to add NEW reskins like the spooky arctic wolf or whatever it is. AJC has the rainbow raccoon so it doesn't make me excited and I don't want to but it.

I think they're bringing reskins of old animals because they're busy working on the underwater part of animal jam. It can take a long time, fixing graphics, adding animals, code, designing, etc. A lot of people are disappointed in AJHQ, but that makes no sense because at least you're getting an animal... They're just being ungrateful for what is being released. Smh.

I don't think reskins are an issue in themselves, but some of the choices made with them have annoyed me specifically the group of legendary eagles, which are just eagles with textures thrown on them like four times. And while I think they look cool, the lightside and darkside artic wolves being real money exclusive reskins (with slight changes) is just really weird to me

It's actually speaking they're not doing reskins because they are more time effective. Every single animal that's going to be released into the game is going to eventually get a reskin reskins are done for a multitude of reasons. Time efficiency isn't one of them and if you actually look at the detail orientation and you look at how much goes into some of these reskins other than the spring bunny like the rainbow raccoon outfit, everything the rainbow animation that took a lot. Actually, they probably have a hundred animals ready to go into the game right now that are being finalized and they play with different characters and stuff. The reality is that they are not so far behind and they don't have their head so far up their butt that they wouldn't have animals ready to go. The real reason they're doing this is because people love the raccoon the raccoons original. They release the raccoon in a token for $7 and now they can make the raccoon a rainbow and get everyone's lights and attention. This new colorful, bright glittery pets and all this stuff is to make money and the last thing they're going to do is cut corner so that they can have more time to work on other stuff. The reality is is that they're doing this because we want original animals with reskins and they're going to do this for every single animal. Just like they're going to do tokens every month because they giving us a new calendar. That gives us a clear indication of what we're receiving. We're going to be getting tokens every month. We're going to be getting you animals every month. We're also going to be getting a new pet every month and this is the new system glittery galaxy pets rainbow raccoons this stuff actually takes an effort. It's not just a reskin but I totally like see what you're saying where it's easier to make a free skin than it is to make a whole new animal but I don't see them not having any animals made and that they're just going to do riskids. I see that they have animals made and that this is something that they can seriously make profit off of and it's not to do with saving 5 minutes because at the end of the day they need to make as much money as possible and if they didn't think they're going to make as much money as possible they would not have done this. I see the crystal eagles and all this stuff is just a way to make as much money as possible, not reskinned. I don't see that as being lazy, the crystal eagles or any of the race skins. I see them as being an adaptation. That's like well-rounded

I really like reskins, but only if they release them once in a while. I don't think they should release multiple times in a row like they did with the spooky arctic wolf and Autumn coyote. Also, I'm not counting the legendary eagles in this category, they're a single animal with multiple patterns, so they didn't over do resikns.
