I am no English teacher but I was told one can not use "learn" with the meaning of "teach".

The secret of working out with success is: 1.knowing your goals (so you avoid trying way too much stuff and getting nowhere) 2.Making sure that GOAL is not absurd for your size, age. Like starting parkour age 60 3.Learning everything about progressions - chopping into small steps to make sure you can climb up with ease. 4.Consistency 5.Rest 6.What you eat. 7.Enjoy the long road you have just entered 8.Watch as much Ryan as you can, so maybe you can absorb some of that zen energy that he emanates.

One of the things that sold me on Elements two months ago is your coaching style. I love your attitude of “It’s fine, go at the level that’s good for you. That’s totally cool.”

You set a good model, and you have others who demonstrate very well, but Alex is me, and his example is actually a morale booster, and a great example of how to improve what I am working on from GMB

Glad to hear this and precisely why Alex is a great person to be demoing these.

Core stability is the foundation. Shoulders, hips, and hamstrings are next in line.

I bought Elements ages ago but TKRs and other limitations made me feel like I couldn't even start. This is the video I needed years ago, thank you!

Thank you so much for this! I hurt myself doing the tabletop to Frogger and stopped Elements in the first week. I was heartbroken. Now I'm better and now I understand how to modify Frogger for myself. Seeing someone doing the modifications and not the extremely fit person in the Elements video who could clearly levitate his legs without much effort was key for me. Thanks again!

Scaling things is very important and something that can seem difficult that we will now have more clearly laid out in Elements.

Thank you for this video and special thanks to Alex for demonstrating! I had not been able to visualize which modifications to make to these movements, but now I feel like I really can do this! I'm so excited to try this all again and have it be something I can actually do🎉! Yay!

Looks helpful! Did elements a couple of times and re-injured bilateral elbows. Will do it and modify. Other than hurting elbows Elements is so fun and energizing.

I've recently got back into Elements, and each day I'm reminded how much I love that program. Thank you for another useful and encouraging video, Ryan. EDIT: Those different Element tracks you're talking about at 1:53? Can they be selected in Praxis or?

I have the same question. Has Elements been revamped, similar to Integral Strength?

Yes! We will have an official announcement coming out soon but you will be able to select which track you want to work on within Praxis. :)

Loving the gradual track but I wish this level of scaling was included in the tutorials! (I'm only at session 2, but seems like it would be natural to include the crab modification shown here in the crab setup tutorial? maybe it's coming?)
@gmbfit
@gmbfit Жыл бұрын
The tutorials are already too long, and you have full access to our team anytime you need help :) We could theoretically add na infinite number of modifications to every movements, but most of them would be irrelevant to most of our clients, which increases the likelihood that they get skipped.

What is the GMB view on using aids like mini p-bars and yoga blocks?
@gmbfit
@gmbfit Жыл бұрын
They're almost always a crutch, and most people spend more time focusing on those than they do learning what their bodies are currently capable of and getting better at controlling that. manipulating an implement is more complex than controlling your body on its own. there's cases where props can help, but please don't imagine they're a simple, easy fix. The real fix lies in being OK with things being challenging and working at the appropriate level to make improvements.
Stop using bands to train muscle-ups! This works better.
