Guthrie Govan, Joe Satriani, Tosin Abasi, Steve Vai, John Petrucci, Allan Holdsworth, Al Di Meola, all lyrical geniuses, with no lyrics necessary. Amazing musicians.

Fun fact: this tune is in 5|8 time signature. Along the way, past the mid point, it briefly shifts to 15|4 time, or more like (7+8)|4 time.

Great comment, man. You bring up a great point, seriously. Most everyone takes WAY too much for granted in life, and it's really just not fair to the awesome people like yourself and me that truly appreciate these artists and the labels, and everything that they do for us. People honestly just take way too much for granted in GENERAL, though.

I love the song but it'd be much better with the 8-string chugs right at the end like they perform live. The "chug ch-chug, ch-ch-chug, ch-cha-chug, cha-cha-chug" part. I'm aware that Tosin and Misha originally wrote the song on 7-string guitars though, so it's all good.

... they have a bass player...
@deathscreton9 жыл бұрын
phunmaster2000 They don't. Tosin does all the bass, and when they play live, he uses a pre-recorded bass line to fill in.
@phunmaster20009 жыл бұрын
guy, there is a bass on this album... you can hear it. It's an octave below the guitars. I'm pretty sure nolly from Periphery recorded the bass on this album, at least on CAFO.
