Lets not get lost in the weeds guys, just focus on the content. For anyone that hasn't used notion, it has a learning curve. If you can stick with it and not worry about utilizing everything it has you'll fall in love with it.

It's amazing how many people don't have the depth of mind to listen to someone they disagree with. I don't listen regularly because I keep fish and not reptiles, so not all your content is relevant to me, but I am excited to listen to this episode. The episodes on ethics of animal husbandry are usually relevant to my lifestyle

I've been in the hobby for 2 decades, high end chameleons, geckos blah blah 5 years ago I had the realisation, here where I like in the UK a stones throw away is two endangered species, the Natterjack Toad and the Sand lizard, so I made the choice to only keep Jeweled Lacertas, Green lizards and French Natterjack Toads (yet to acquire European Sand Lizards) I got involved in local habitat conservation and Surveying as well as the plan to create outdoor enclosures so one day I could take part in captive breeding projects for our precious native species, I resonate with this and a lot of the philosophy Ben speaks about, and this vid is totally that Dylan 👊🏻💚

What do you mean by Jordan? What do you mean by Peterson? What do you mean by advice? What do you mean by for? What do you mean by animal? What do you mean by keepers? This ridiculous line of questioning is what I always think of when I hear captain word salads name (JP). Good episode overall though.

While I don’t agree with everything Jordan has to say, I appreciate anyone open enough and comfortable with themselves enough to allow voice to a divisive figure. I look forward to listening to this. Open dialogue is the only way beyond the current toxicity of our system.

Invoking a notorious misogynistic grifter is a bad look for both this channel, and the hobby generally. Hard pass from one of your regulars who has often steered people here in the past. Given that most of the keepers I know are female, I'll have to strongly reconsider recommending this channel in the future.

I came here to say this. I was always so happy with this channel because I considered it progressive in the animal welfare and herp keeping arena. Giving Peterson a Platform is such a huge soul crushing let down to me. Peterson's goal is to force all women to breed as if it's their only path to true self fulfillment! He wants to drag us back decades! Why was he invoked here?
@bluefrogcreations6132Ай бұрын
@@Janeway1269 All of that, plus climate change denialism, professional ethics violations, and flirtation with intelligent design.

I will no longer be recommending to any women and I myself unsubscribed. Jordan Peterson is openly transphobic, misogynistic, homophobic, and a rape apologist

A lot of people don't know the definitions of "fascist" or "fascism". It seems that a lot of people call other people names like "n zi" or "fascist" without knowing what an actual fascist is. Jordan Peterson is not a fascist. Jordan Peterson is a center right conservative.

Your view on herp keeping has always been what I considered forward thinking. It shocks me that you decided to use Jordan Peterson in your channel. His views on women are that we aren't fulflilled unless we breed. And that's just the start of it. He's a top misogynist. Please tell me you weren't like that all this time.
