VFX stands for ‘visual effects’ and, true to its name, it means creating or manipulating imagery to create a particular effect. This could be a grand explosion or something as simple as digitally adding a poster on a wall. Dr. Strange’s time portals in The Avengers? It’s VFX. The bullfight sequence in Baahubali? That’s VFX, too! Movies these days are full of impressive visual effects that take the viewer into a truly magical world.
Animation is a type of visual effect where the animator creates movements for objects and characters in either 2D or 3D. How many of you have been enthralled by the characters in The Lion King? Each character is as beautiful as the real animal they’re based on. And, unlike real lions, Simba, Kiara, Zazu, and the other have incredibly human-like expressions. Animators use a variety of software to design, draw, and then manipulate still images. This is called animation.
Compositing Artist : They detect errors and develop strategies to produce the final animated film. They use software such as Adobe After Effects and Motion 5, amongst others.
Attention to detail : Do you have an eye keen enough to discern strands of hair lazily falling out of a dishevelled ponytail? This is just an example of the kind of details you need to pay attention toward to make the character more humane.
Rotoscoping Artist : This is a method where animators trace over live-action footage, frame by frame. It brings a sense of realism.
Motion Graphic Designer : The job role includes creating movie clips, commercials, title sequences, trailers, etc.
FX technical director : They are responsible for overseeing the creation of particle and fluid effects. This would include creating fire, fluids, smoke, clouds, physical destruction like blasts and particulates.
VFX artist : The creator of visual effects in games, movies, and TV shows
VFX supervisor : Supervises all the proceedings of the visual effects required in the process of production.
Animator Render Wrangler : This is the last person who sees the animation before it is finally made into a film or video.
Rigging Artist : 3D riggers create a skeleton for a 3D animation to enable mobility. Characters are required to be rigged before they are animated.
Matte painter : They are the people behind photo-realistic landscapes or environments that you cannot recreate on the real set.

Hi i have completed my 12th class. I want to make career in Animation lekin Animation ki field mein career banane ke liye koi path already set nahi hain jaise engineer banne ke liye btech toh karna hi padhta hain. Animation mein hum bina degree ke bhi jaa sakte hain. I know this. ( lekin pehle degree karna hain) Kya Animation field meiin career banane ke liye Bsc in Animation, Bsc in Animation and multi media and Ba in 3d Animation eise courses kar sakte hain? Kya ese courses karne ke baad hum Animation field mein apna career start kar sakte hain? Aur kya inn courses ko karne ke baad job toh mil jayegi naa? ( Mujhe lekar iss field mein jaana hain isliye pucha yeh) Mere question ka answer de dijiye. I request you.

Aap bsc animation kijiye coz usme apka complete course ho jaega 2d 3d vfx or 3 saal ki degree k baad aap 2 saal ka specialization course karna MSc in animation ya vfx ya 3d jo bhi apko interst hoga kyuki 3 saal k baad apko pta to chal jaega ki kis field m interst h apko or ha job ki baat h to kisi ache college se krna jha placement acha ho or tab bhi job nhi mile to out of city nikal jana Mumbai delhi ya Hyderabad agar aap kisi small town m rehte ho to vha se course mt krna I recommend you ki course aap bahar se hi krna agar afford kr sako nhi to apni city m hi search kr lena kyuki being a vfx artist or editor mje pta h isme competition bahut hard h apko apna work proof krna hoga I did also bsc animation and last ek option or h agar 3 saal nhi krna chahte to 1 year ka course bhi hota h jo particularly ek field m hota h like 2d 3d vfx depend on your interests

Sir me abhi 12th me hu . Or mera dream is field me apna career banane ki hai.. But sab log bol rahe hai ki abhi utni salary or job security nahi hai.. But mujhe isi me apni life set karni hai.. So mujhe konsi field me jana chahiye animation ki ya vfx ki..because mujhe dono me hi intrest hai.. And [ animation and vfx ] ke andar bhi bhohot sari jobs hai.. Eg :- 2d, 3d, character designer,compositor many more.. so which is best and kisme aage jaakar 70k-1L per month ki salary mil sakti hai..?
