Animation Renascence! Will DC Step Up After X-Men?

I know it is not revisiting an existing show, but I think something like the comic Saga (by Brian K. Vaughan & Fiona Staples) would make a great animated series. It has an engaging story, mature themes and visuals that would never be done in live action. In fact I think a few of Image comics' properties could make great animated series, they tend to be targeted at a more mature audience and several of them are even completed stories.

DC Animation has dominated for decades. While the quality has dipped a little in the last batch of connected movies...DC is still Superior. Marvel's shows haven't been that great until X-Men. What if? was not very good, and most Marvel animated series were very weak in the writring and animation.

The title of this video is confusing and misleading. Its like DC has never had any good animation. DC has a strong history of good animated series and good adult animated series also. Its disrespectful to DC to be honest. DC has always be doing good animated movies and TV shows for about 20yrs while Marvel has not and has been seriously lagging in their animation. The Marvel live action movies were doing well. If anything Marvel has finally stepped up and as for X-Men 97 it looks like they copied the animation style from Powerhouse Animation Studio that Netflix uses. This show has also been lite on DC content over the past few weeks, so I don't know.

We mean no disrespect to DC! Their legacy in animation is undeniable. We're just excited for what the future could bring. And this show will definitely be covering more DC coming up, especially with The Caped Crusader, James Gunn's Superman, and the Creature Commandos animated series on the horizon.

You should try to get McFarlane on here and Toy Otter would be cool to talk about his covers, there is also a KZbinr called Brad the DC Universe Geek and I think it would be cool if he was a guest one day. Looking forward to more content :) Thanks for all of your work on Ghostbusters also and making it happen. Scooby Doo would be cool also.
