Sort of. I guess you mean Kaguya = talent and Miyuki = hard work. In my other comment, I say I think of it like talent vs greatness. Miyuki = talent (obtained via hard work) and Kaguya = greatness = a combination of talent (again, obtained via hard work) and preparation, in analogy with chess. Here, 'talent' isn't the opposite of hard work like 'talent' as in your 'natural ability' or whatever. 'Talent' is the opposite of 'theory' or 'preparation'. Sigma = Wesley So = Miyuki Shirogane = Bobby Fischer = Chess960 Alpha = Magnus Carlsen = Kaguya Shinomiya = Garry Kasparov = Chess Wesley So, Bobby Fischer & Miyuki Shirogane are like Beth Harmon - Each 'is a prodigy, had a rather dark childhood and is American.' Well except the American part, but Miyuki is going to Stanford, sooo.... They had dark childhoods but because of their prodigiousness and their 1 supportive parent, they were able to climb out of the dire circumstances. Rags-to-riches actually. In chess, how good you are is a combination of your talent and how well you prepare your openings. In chess960, how good you are is just how talented you are because there is no opening theory in chess960. In classical chess (Classical means the time control for the game is at least 60min per player.) - 'Magnus Carlsen beat Wesley So 5 to 1, with 15 draws.' In classical chess960 - Wesley So has beaten Magnus Carlsen 3 to 0, with 1 draw. - These 3 wins happened in a row in the finals of the inaugural 2019 FIDE world championship in chess960. The last time 3x in a row classical losses happened in chess was in 2000 Vishy Anand vs Alexei Shirov, almost 2 decades prior! Vishy Anand won 3x in a row and then the match, but Vishy was higher rated. Here, Wesley So was the lower rated player ( lower rated in chess. There were and still are no ratings in chess960 ) yet won 3x classical games in a row and then the match! How could the then 4-time and reigning classical world chess champion ( and later 5-time classical WCC ) lose 3 classical games in a row to Wesley So and not get a single win?! Ostensibly, Magnus' greatness is like 99% theory and 1% talent. LOL!!!! Now back to Kaguya-sama : Ironically ... Sam Shankland considers the hard work part to be in the preparation not the talent obtained ( see 2:00 - 3:02 in nhAJl5zldeE and 1:50 onwards in TzrLZ1ym8Ic ) yet Kaguya's preparation I think is largely resource availability not hard work. Okay let's say the umbrella episode ok fine Kaguya did work hard for preparation I guess. But consider the sea / ocean vs mountain episode, Kaguya did prepare but Kaguya all those resources available from the start from being so rich. LOL. But anyway yeah Kaguya's wins / draws are largely about preparation. Miyuki does not prepare much but is still able to win / draw against Kaguya.

2nd : 0:06 actually i've been wondering ... are they 'FRIENDS' actually? in s1 at least they were not so close. i think s3 they were already pretty close friends. sure they're colleagues that work well together but doesn't mean they're actually friends idk. definitely : kaguya & chika re friends. kei & moeha are friends. kei & chika are friends. kaguya & miyuki though?

This is the only one so far in your tournament I'll watch. Currently I just skipped to the end. I'll watch full video later. As a Bobby Fischer & Wesley So fan, I am so disappointed Miyuki lost because I consider Sigma = Bobby Fischer = Wesley So = Miyuki Shirogane while Alpha = Garry Kasparov= Magnus Carlsen= Kaguya Shinomiya. Kaguya relies so much on opening preparation so expectedly kaguya / Magnus is better at chess. Sadly life is chess not chess960. In chess960, Wesley So easily crushed Magnus Carlsen, Bobby Fischer would have easily crushed Garry Kasparov & Anatoly Karpov, and Miyuki Shirogane would easily crush Kaguya Shinomiya. Still ... Since Kaguya & Miyuki are in comedy series while pretty much everyone else is in a non-comedy series: 1 - there's no way Kaguya will get far. 2 - there's no way Miyuki would get far in an elimination bracket. P.s. I'm likely to watch all your Kaguya or Miyuki videos. Lol.
