No armies use audio fear tactics anymore. For instance, they used to chant and use drums. It's terrifying hearing hundreds of drums and men chanting coming your way. Why don't they still do it? Songs like these, could you imagine an army marching with something like this played over speakers? It'd scare the hell out of the enemies. And it works, it always has, they just recently stopped implementing it. Not only is it terrifying to the enemy, but it's a massive morale boost to the soldiers.
