Vegeta did cry at that moment too in the anime when he realized the futility at defeating Freeza and that he was going to die at his hands whether or not he had actually become a Super Saiyan. One of his many, many breaking points.

God Freeza having that moment where he leans forward and you just hear a door creaking sound was the encapsulation of everything great about this fight in Abridged.

Vegeta cried three times during the fight (yes, even in the original), he cried when Freeza kicked his last blast like it was nothing. He cried when Freeza was about to kill him before Goku arrived, and he cried as he was dying and begging Goku to kill Freeza. So there's no photoshop, all those crying scenes are from the original.

10:10 this is one of the best things about TFS and DBZA, they not only do amazing jokes, but the call backs as well. this one for example is the punch for the "i heard those heroic speechs so much i started counting" joke he did when the arc started. and of course, it reached its point with goku saying something so bizarre, freeza had never heard before.

Lani once said that Vegeta is at his most entertaining when he is up at the tip and we realize that he is about to come tumbling down, and this episode really emphasizes that. Vegeta's banter is probably at its best here right up until Frieza stops playing around.

With the latter half of season 2, Team Four Star managed to achieve a beautiful balance between drama and comedy that stands in stark contrast to the meme-filled random comedy of the first season. When people point to how influential DBZA is on other abridged series, they usually refer to episodes like this one, which manages to feel heartfelt while still being absolutely hilarious. The upcoming episodes showing the Freeza fight are a gem, and I hope you enjoy every minute of it.

I honestly think season 2 and the movies were the absolute perfect balance, season 1 is pretty rough and season 3 is too serious at times and the jokes are often slight line changes

Old Yeller is an old live action disney movie where a beloved dog has to be put down after getting rabies. It’s just absurd how many space versions of earth stuff there is 😂 I definitely remember Vegeta crying when giving his all didn’t do anything. Because I had no idea Vegeta ever cried and was shocked I might be misremembering, but I think the bit of Yamch getting cut off before he can talk was a byproduct of not having his new VA yet I think Vegeta did also cry after getting shot

It's way too rare for a "final form" to be simple and elegant. In most cases stronger forms just become more complex or intense or bigger - when it's much more menacing when someone is strong enough that they don't even need to boast about it or stand out. Like a martial arts master compared to a street thug.

And the conclusion for the "you are not dealing with the average Saiyan warrior" foreshadowing from earlier! Frieza in his last form has been one of my favorite DBZ characters and TFS perfectly added their own spice, especially in the later episodes how the chemistry with Goku goes. I think you would need a counter for moments when you wonder the thing and after that the joke finally hits.

So it's Canon that Vegeta's spirit animal is a reggae crab, meaning that his soul is Jamaican. More specifically space Jamaican. LOL

The crab was a reference to Sebastian, the crab from The Little Mermaid. Also Frieza makes a reference in this episode about his species. They almost exclusively eat shellfish and drink wine.

Vegeta cries twice in this part of the anime. Once in this episode when he realizes that his power is still far from reaching Frieza, and then when he is dying and putting his great pride aside he begs Goku to kill Frieza in a last and desperate hope that Goku will become a Super Saiyan and avenge the Saiyans.

Theree are 2 moments when Vegeta crys in the show. One like you said when he's at death's door begging Goku to win, the other out of sheer frustration and the realization that he is NOT a Super Sayan, that he is NOT going to win and that he is NOT going to survive right where DBZA shows it. It even has a cheesy monent in the Original dub where the narrator, or King Kai not 100% sure which of them, says something along the lines of "And for the first time ever, the proud prince of the Sayans is crying"

Which is why I think it's tragic we will never get a Buu DBZA because I think they would have made Buu even better. Why? Think about it. Just think about it. Buu was practically MEANT to be put in DBZA. His character already fit that blueprint. And I'd have loved to hear the voice actor for the many buus. Hercule also would have been a treasure in DBZA. And the many stupid mistakes Goku and others make? It's just perfect for the abridged. I still secretly hope they do a Buu arc by the grace of all that is good, despite them saying it would never happen.

Vegeta was actually crying because he had thrown his best punch at Freeza, who effortlessly knocked it clear into space, and it was then that Vegeta realized that he was going to die. Freeza is a galactic tyrant who thinks nothing of destroying entire planets, and Vegeta was basically a servant/hostage, and he knew exactly what Freeza was capable of, and there was nothing he could do about it

He has MasakoX (voice of Goku and Gohan in DBZ Abridged) and LittleKuriboh from Yu-gi-oh Abridged (also the voice of Freeza in DBZA) to help him go through the movie. The movie itself is bad, but this review is hilarious IMO.
