@someguy19914 жыл бұрын
I mean no offense but it's "entertaining us" or "bringing us joy", "enjoying us" is wrong; I don't know how to explain why it's wrong though. Actually, now that I think about it, I don't know if my examples would be fitting in a scenario like this.
@star-di3wx4 жыл бұрын
I think it's something like this enjoying refers to whatever is before it In "Thank you for enjoying", enjoying refers to whoever you're referring to as "you", bringing them joy Some more examples I enjoy listening to music "I" is the target of "enjoy" Thank you for giving joy to us "us" is the target of "giving joy" Thank you for bringing joy to us "us" is the target of "bringing joy" (In this case, bringing has the same meaning as giving) Yeah, English is strange sometimes.

I'm no famous critic, but I feel like commenting about this beautiful song, so let's get started. 《Ninelie》hits me deeply, not only because it itself is a masterpiece and it is greatly moving, but it also sparks imaginations that are filled with emotions within me. Everytime I hear 《Ninelie》 including the first time I heard it, I felt like I was in a vast universe, drifting amongst the dazzling galaxies, stars and other astounding objects. I was surrounded by uncountable amounts of things of beauty, yet I was alone, all alone in the vast universe, drifting aimlessly, endlessly. Yet, I am glad, since there was someone, who-although didn't and will never know who I am-conducted this song to let this weary traveller know that I am not alone. Then again, I could feel the sorrow of her, too. It was the sorrow of having to use this song as a greeting, a proposal, a promise, and also the mark of eternal seperation. To me, this song is about a tragic yet beautiful, short yet eternal story of pure love and sorrow. And it makes me remember that I am always alone, endlessly wandering, but there will always be someone that will remember me, and shares that loneliness. To have someone to share my loneliness, it feels as if that I am no longer alone, even though I still am, because lone souls are bound to one another. And I would be glad to say that Animenz enhanced that feeling. During the second chorus, the sudden climax brought a new touch. It was like a lone hero facing an enemy that, no doubt, he would never succeed in defeating, however he stands undoubted, the reason being that he was the only thing between and the person that occupies his heart and mind. He will die, and she will fall, but regardless, he wanted to protect her. It was no longer just love, it was instinct, to protect something that is part of yourself. Whereas Aimer and Chelly's original version was like what happened after, where the two gave it their all to tell others, to tell the legacy of this lovely, forgotten story, hoping to ease the souls of the two souls. Great job, Animenz, this was beyond marvelous. Every 4 beats, a new thing pops up to attract my attention. Never was anything feeling old, and still deja vu happened. Thank you Animenze, for giving my favourite song a new meaning.

Oh man, where do I even begin? Ever since I saw the announcement, I knew this was going to be a special upload. The first time I listened to the full version, I also noticed the distinct softness of the first chorus, in contrast to the immediate forte of most choruses. I think that you emulated that beautifully here. I also loved the addition of your personal jazzy flare in the second chorus buildup (2:15=2:37), subtle but colorful. Overall, this song feels softer and less bass punchy compared to a lot of other Hiroyuki Sawano compositions, and I loved how you used that extra dynamic space to incorporate a lot of extra voices. The incorporation of new techniques like the five-hand technique that you've never used before speaks so much to your versatility and creativity as a composer. Bravo!

I cried listening to this. It's not your talent. It's not how good the piece is played. You give birth to new instruments on that song. I can hear other things that you constructed. It's not only talent and performance that gives reason to music. It's how you fuel imagination and starts suggesting other instruments on that song. This is why youtube will continue to be a mine of surprises. We discover each day our humanity.

I forgot the X-Trillion unique special 5 hand technique! I'll just put it there.." How my covers end up : ,,Well I got the right hand melody by now"(after 4 hours of practising xD) . I have a question for you animenz. Would you say you're one of those people who were born with talent, or did you had to work hard to get where you are now? :)
@Animenzzz8 жыл бұрын
+Pianimon compare my first piano covers on my channel (recorded on my good ol' yamaha upright piano) with the most recent ones. Í gradually developed my arrangement style over the years by uploading at least one new sheet every month. The goal I have set myself is to always make my next arrangement better than the previous one. The only "talent" I have is my absolute pitch, but you can arrange songs with an relative pitch as well (like TehIshter for example, he "only" have an relative pitch, but his arrangements are spot on) Basically, it's all about practise and a hint of passion!

Dear Animenz,Every new video makes me wonder if there will ever be one of your compositions I will be able to play. I am sure that, through practice, I will be able to play at the right speed and have the ability to cover those distances with my hand. Unfortunately, every time I try to learn one of these, there is a chord that's just too big for my hands... Through years of practice, it would be possible for almost anyone to play at this level. It's just sad that some of us will never be able to play your pieces because they are inhibited by having smaller hands than yours. That is why I ask you to think of us smaller-handed fans and compose a piece with no more than an octave of distance between notes in a chord.Sincerely,A big, small-handed fan
@Animenzzz8 жыл бұрын
+Marijn „Dolfijn“ Zoogdier hello there, I am aware of this issue already but unfortunately, the chords sound very different if am using octaves instead of tenths. (especially for the left hand) That's the reason why I use tenth chords - to achieve a perfect sound for the bass. Besides, most of the big chords can be played anyway by "splitting" them up (and using your pedal) I have seen other people on youtube playing my arrangements, despite having smaller hands and they still managed to play it by simply "splitting" up the big chords. Therefore, don't be discouraged!

+Animenz Piano Sheets Do you mean splitting the chord by dividing it between you hands, or by playing two parts of the chord in quick succession with one hand? Also, I do understand the reasoning behind the big chords, I just wondered if it would be possible to achieve a similar sound with a smaller chord. Apparently that isn't the case, as I should've known... I still love listening to these pieces and will keep on practicing to perfect at least some parts!

He probably means to play it as if they were arpeggiated chords. Arpeggiated chord A chord with notes played in rapid succession, usually ascending, each note being sustained as the others are played. It is also called a "broken chord".

I love the different composition styles between Animenz and Theishter. Animenz is more evocative to the original sound and very vibrant and Theishter is a bit more off the beaten path and more emotional and sensual sounding. Both have done amazing covers of this piece and i can't pick a winner because they both sound so good for slightly different reasons.
