There is a mistake: the court did not find the truck driver that killed his parents inocent but his employer innocent. In fact, the truck driver was overworked and fell asleep at the wheel but the responsibility of the company he worked for was rejected. This is what Yuki found unfair: that the powerful got away.

The author does great world building but power creep keeps popping up every now and then. Yuuki is just the most obvious and I excuse most others for being more subtle. I guess Yuuki getting massive leaps in power is a holdover from the original web novel. It is interesting though that Rimiru was never boring despite his ludicrous strength but Yuuki just has plot armour protecting him.

Rimuru avoids being boring by underestimating himself. He holds back, strategizes, and creates opportunities for his subordinates to shine even when he could have just curbstomped the whole fight… because he’s constantly worried about what will happen if he overestimates his powers and ends up losing. It’s kinda funny, he’s realistic enough to think that it’s absurd for him to be basically the most powerful being in a world where he hasn’t been around all that long.

That being said, after this video, I really hope you a video explaining the rest of the moderate clown troupe especially former demon lord kazaream/kagali. But in honor of the fact you're doing humans of tensura right now, maybe do the next video on emperor rudra, lieutenant kondou(personally want you to do kondou), damrada and/or the other members of cerberus, the rest of the ten great saints aside from hinata, or Leon Cromwell who is technically human only transformed and empowered to ridiculous levels. P.s. you left out how yuuki has psychic powers from his old world, i.e. psychokinesis, and there's the small fact that his creator skill is a degraded version of one of veldanava's ultimate skills, and before and during his time as grandmaster of the free guild he hid both his natural powers and his unique skill, even his anti-skill, and made it seem that an enhanced physiology, capable of killing a dragon with his bare hands, and possibly the ability to use magic(not entirely sure on this) was all he got from transfer to the tensura world.

Awesome video. Though I personally think Rimuru is just as much of a Mary Sue as Yuuki. I mean, reincarnating as an A rank monster with a highly advanced A.I from the get go that evolved into a sentient being capable of granting ultimate skills. If that doesn't seem favoritism I don't know what does. He also gets the best allies. His primordial servants beats out Guy's in quantity (4 to 2) and quality (Diablo and the trio having greater battle experience and more refined skills than the maids despite the latter's greater magicule count, which actually makes Guy look stupid). He's best buds with the True Dragon with the largest magicule count hence greatest potential. Everytime he's even remotely close to facing a hard situation, it resulted in his evolution. The orcs invasion led to him attaining a Demon Lord Seed, the invasion of Falmuth led to him awakening as a True Demon Lord, and the invasion of the Eastern Empire led him to become a True Dragon (or at least a comparable existence). He also makes beings hyped up as some of the strongest beings in existence look pathetic. Velgrynd, a True Dragon who emerged self-formed that even Veldora (who had increased his magicules and became far more skillful, with a cheat ultimate skill) would only have *at most* a 50-50 chance of winning, was made to look pathetic because Rimuru evolved Raphael into Ciel. Wow, why even pretend that there are stakes. At least Yuuki experiences genuine defeats. Power growth does not equate to character growth. I wouldn't be surprised if Rimuru turns out to be the reincarnation of Veldanava and gains his godly powers.

Fun fact about that is the anime/LN/WN is actually based on a timeline where Rimuru goes through these evolutions in order to survive the eastern empires attack since the hero Chronoa was Chloe and in other alternate timelines she always kept seeing Rimuru (her friend) die and Tempest fall. So in order to seek a means to avoid that she used her time leaping abilities she gets when Chloe awakens as Chronoa after Hinata saves her in the fight with Granbell to find alternate timelines where Rimuru doesn’t die, evolved into a true demon lord to gain enough power to fight the eastern empire, and save Chloe & Hinata later on in Luminous city. So what we’re watching is basically the ideal timeline where Rimuru gets strong enough to beat the eastern empire, hence all the evolving and power spikes that make him look like a Mary Sue. After all, it wouldn’t be the ideal timeline for him if he died. Again. The time leaping is also the reason why we see Chronoa fight Veldora and fight Leon Cromwell and Shizu following in her footsteps. The mask that gets passed down from Chronoa gets passed down to Shizu which then gets passed down to Rimuru which then gets passed down to Chloe (Chronoa) again to start the cycle all over again in the timelines. That’s why Diablo was so interested in Rimuru, he literally possessed a mask that leaped throughout alternate timelines and can conceal his aura. I will admit the whole being reborn next to a true dragon looking for friends and consuming him along with the barrier and gaining immense amounts of magicules though was complete utter bullshit luck lol but can’t complain too much about him having Ciel/Raphael since every other worlder gets a broken ability upon summoning/reincarnation

@@Bryan80862 Fair enough. That said, this whole time travel shenanigans is quite convoluted IMO. That said, while Rimuru was not the only otherworlder to gain broken abilities: 1. Not every otherworlder do. Some strays like Yoshida gained no powers whatsoever and thus became a chef. Some who were summoned with incomplete conditions like Shizue and the otherworlder kids gained an excess in magicules that threatened to destroy them from the inside. 2. Not every unique skill acquired by otherworlders match Rimuru's Great Sage. Sure, Hinata's Mathematician and Usurp and Yuuki Creator are easily comparable (if not superior IMO) to Great Sage, but I doubt anyone is gonna claim that Shogo's Berserker, Kyoya's Severer and Kirara's Bewilder (although quite powerful in their own right) are in any way close to Great Sage's league. Rimuru winning everytime because this was the ideal timeline that was thanks to Chronoa's time travel shenanigans is plausible, but can't they at least make it seem close? Like, Velgrynd subduing Veldora on her own and Rimuru only barely winning after swallowing 😏 and calming her down in volume 15. Rain and Misery being rivals if not equals to Diablo and Testarossa in their respective encounters in volume 11. The Jura Tempest Federation requiring the support of other Demon Lords like Luminous and Leon and their forces to stand against the Eastern Empire and even then everyone suffered heavy casualties. The elites of the Eastern Empire being more than a match to the 12 Patrons and 10 Floor Guardians, with the latter 2 only barely winning. At least make the antagonists look threatening even if they ultimately lose is what I'm saying, that's just me though.

It's just that Rimuru bulldozing his way through enemies hyped up as some of the strongest beings in existence is what bothers me. That, and the fact that his subordinates are either already the strongest if their kin (Diablo and the trio for the demons and Veldora for the True Dragons) or get massive power creeps (Benimaru one-shotting No. 3 of the Eastern Empire, Zegion from an oversized beetle to stomping all but the strongest foes, etc.). I don't hate these characters nor do I need them to lose, I just want their victories to feel close and hard-earned. That's just me though.

also as shown by guy with his napalm blast where he used an art that combined magic and skills yuuki's anti-skill couldn't nullify both. This is one of the reasons guy is my favorite demon lord he's so smart and his powers are incredibly also his magicules are on par with a true dragon although I heard his EV was around 40 million but the true dragon velgrynd had an EV of about 49 million before her skills were upgraded by rimuru I thought EV factored in skills and magicules to calculate so I thought he would have been higher although he did kill veldora in the past who EV is double guy's. Anyways every time I glimpse Guy's power I like him more although rimuru's skill are a lot cooler in vol 16 and he is the best genderless character in the series.

@@KiyoKami_ True Dragons EP are at 77 to 90+ Million and EP doesn't change by mere training, you could only increase it by experiencing Evolution but True Dragons are already the Highest Evolution Race so they never really can Evolve. Acquiring Ultimate Skill doesn't also increase your Magicules or Energy but they actually decrease your Magicules Capacity because everyone in Tensura has a limit of Ultimate Skills they can get. EP is basically the measurements of Energy, Physical Capabilities, and Strength by yourself or weapon although it's not accurate.

What is more important? The power of creation and negation (Yuuki) or the power of learning and adaptation (Rimuru)? I think ultimately, Rimuru's unique skills like Raphael and Uriel were far better than anti-skill and create skill. Yuuki has a God complex due to his desires and powers, Rimuru either is the reincarnation or equivalent of Veldanava so literally is God in this multiverse. I actuallly want to see Yuuki face off against Diablo, the faux god complex vs. actual Devil would be an interesting battle.

Not enough information on him. i can tell you is his name, which is (滅界竜イヴァラージェ mekkai ryū iyu~arāje) translate to " (Ivarage, the dragon of the extinct world) " which i find cooler/mysterious than doom dragon or world destroying dragon. His name is similar to two names from india . 1. Yuvaraj : which sometimes called ivaraj . It means a prince or successor. 2. Shivaraj : which is the another way people called lord shiva, the destroyer.

Wait I’m confused cause in WN it explained that the ego of Veldanava was with Yuuki because of his mindset? that’s why he got the skill “Creator” because Veldanava’s ego choose to reside in Yuuki and was basically like a an adviser to Yuuki.
