You know, the more I learn about the story in Eminence of Shadow, the more I am convinced that Sid getting isekai'd to that world was some sort of magical correction in order to counter teh demon diablos possession phenomenon that was plaguing their world and to also counter teh cult like a body creating white blood cells to counter diseases. Sounds crazy but i like to think it's the case.

You said 3 more, but what about Beta? Did I miss a video or what? To the Delta after learning more about her, I started to like her more. In the anime she wasn't properly showed, except of fight within sanctuary. This interesting how her beast instinct and loyality play a huge role in her personality. Being so sure to kill her blood family to expand her new family was quite something. This comment about Cid defeating her father was hilarious. But thanks to her impulsive nature she is somehow balanced. Her battlepower with good control would be devastating, probably not far from Cid himself. I am still getting amazed how good route of balancing author took to make them not feel too powerful individually except of MC. It is important to not feel like the world is flat and revolves around of the main cast. Here we have them influence the world and not being the centre of it. This is more interesting to find what world is like and how diverse can it be. I would love to see some side stories to be written as a few chapters manga/novel to bring more depth.

it's a mistake, made on Eminence in the Shadow wiki. If you go on Delta page, it's stated she is 4th strongest behind Shadow, Alpha and Zeta. But if you go on Zeta page, it's stated she is the 4th strongest as well, behind Shadow, Alpha and Delta. So people confused by that matter a lot

Everything after the return from Japan is Vol5 of the light novel which came out in Japan a few months ago. There are Eng translations floating around online that aren't perfect but definitely readable. It picks up pretty much right when Cid/Beta are back from Japan.

I mean in the anime Delta got a pretty hefty amount of dedicated screen time compared to some other members of the cast so far and her bigger personality helps her stand out even though she’s gotten somewhat less screen time than someone like Alpha or Beta. Also several big KZbinrs like Gigguk and Mother’s Basement both had dedicated videos for how fun the Show was, which probably boosted interest.

Delta is stronger than Zeta. They fight constantly and it comes down to Zeta running out of gas and running away from Delta. Cid actually wondered in the credit crisis if delta was actually his worse matchup because she has no form or technique for him to counter.

Few corrections: - Delta is the 3rd strongest - The fact, that weakened and suffering from possesion Sara didnt recognized Alpha (who at that time was taught by Cid) as someone superiour - speaks a lot about her strength. So even if she loses to Alpha, the power difference between those two is not that big - Altho it is not explained, but anime follows a specific magic colouring. Pretty much everyone in Shadow Garden has light-blue magic colour. Except for Delta, she has saturated blue. Which suggest, that her magic powers are surprassing of anyone in Shadow Garden. Too stupid to use it, tho. - The fact that Zeta always runs away from a fight, means Zeta is, technically, losing the fight to Delta. And even with new ability of vampire mist - Zeta still had to flee from enraged Delta. So Zeta couldnt defeat Delta before. And even after gaining new powers (which allowed Alpha to actually land a hit on Shadow) - she still couldnt win against Delta. - It's not that Delta doesnt want to learn new techniques. She just cant, too stooopid. The Iron Slab - is her way to imitate other Shadow Garden members using swords. She tries to be like the others. Because wolfs are a pack animals after all.
