One thing I really appreciate about Grisha is as we saw in that episode, he realized what he did to Zeke was wrong. He never once blames him for turning him into Marley. He admits he was a terribke father to Zeke. That character development for him is so strong. Not to mention, he starts over when he is on Paradise. He falls in love with Carla, has Eren. And this time with Eren, he never once forced his ideals onto Eren. Eren came up with his ideals on his own. Grisha was going to show Eren the basement but then the Warriors attacked, he went to the Reiss chapel and begged with them to do something. Begged with Frieda to kill the Titans, but she could not because of Karl Fritzs will. Because of this Grisha toom matters into his own hands and stole the founder and killed the rest of the Reiss family and rushed home. He finds Eren, hears about Carlas death and is greatly affected by the loss of his second wife. He reverts back to his younger self and takes Eren into the woods and while Crying his eyes out knowing that it is wrong, sees no other choice and Injects Eren, having his son eat him. Was that decision right? No, not at all. But I still appreciate that Grisha tried, he had good Internions and cared deeply about his second family. If you check the Attack on Titan guidebook he scored an 8 out of 10 for love of family. I can't wait for next week so we see his conversation with Kruger

xxdarkslayer lord yes and no. I'm all of the Eldia restoration, but when parents puts their needs before their child there is no longer an excuse. I can see both Griesha and Zeke's perspective, but the thing is one of them is a grown adult and the other was a child of 7 years. Mahmoud Idris Mr. and Mrs. Yeager didn't put Griesha in the same kind of danger that Griesha and Dina put Zeke in. Since we're on the topic: Mr. Yeager's submissiveness disgusts me, thanking the people who killed his daughter. But on the other hand he tried protecting the remaining members of his family, there were other factors playing in as well.

You might as well become confused too when you read the manga. That was the common reaction to all manga readers as the truth has been told, confused. We, the manga readers, almost gave up to the manga for there was just sooo much to digest to. Like all of us we're under the same boat with the Paradis people, left way behind. But as the turning point of the story progresses, we begin to like it and understand the scenario now. The manga is at its peak. It's also ending like Isayama said, it'll end around chapter 120 and the latest one is 118. We've witnessed more epic battles than in reclamation of Wall Maria. You, the anime watchers, haven't saw the best of Isayama yet. Wait for it, and you'll just be in awe and speechless at the least. :)

The difference with the anime is that, that pace was just too fast compared to its manga. Like S3's Episode 20, i think they compressed, like, 3 chapters in one episode. And that's a lot, for me, since every chapter has 40+ pages. I think you could even make 2 episodes of anime for one chapter of the manga, that's what i thinkm

Zekes family abandoned him first they forgot to treat and love him as a child there was no bond since they viewed him as a weapon of liberation. Grisha fixed that mistake with Erin and put it in his memoirs for Erin to read so he doesn’t make that mistake either.

With the Marleyan authorities close to discovering the identities of the restorationist leaders, Xaver former holder of beast titan, suggested that Zeke turn in his parents before they were found out in order to prove his loyalty to Marley. Thus to survive with the raid to his parents and to continue the plan of his dad which is freeing the eldian people in his own way. That is to use the founding titan to change the vow into "ELDIANS WONT BE ABLE TO MAKE A CHILD" in order for them to vanish in the world slowly and peacefully.

Grisha's parents put a lot of pressure onto their children, leading to Grisha's sister being murdered and Grisha himself suffer for years. Grisha also treated Zeke horribly as a tool for his dream of Eldian restoration rather than loving Zeke like a son. Zeke would, later on, view Ymir Fritz as nothing but a slave, a tool for his Eldian euthanasia plan rather than an actual human being. Eren on the other hand was actually loved by Grisha and his mother, and he would later on be the only one who viewed Ymir as what she is, not a monster or a God

its true that Grisha was to blinded by hate and became a bad father. Which is so ironic given how he treated Eren. Eren was a psycho since chidlhood and Zeke was timid and yet they both became proof of messed up situation. still, Zeke is only sympathetic of the tragic raise. 7 year olds are not innocent anymore. Both are villians in this situation.

Well as we no his big brother is next in line to inherit the beast titan. And wen faclo told Reiner he didn't want Gabi to inherit the armor, Reiner told him "don't speak I'll of inheriting the armor ,I'll report u to the government and you and your family will be sent to paradise island".this state's that his family did not get sent to paradise with, as far as we no, Grise. Plus if his entire family was sent to paradise island y wasn't falco and his older brother sent aswell

Right or wrong I love how the author portrays mankind in every forms. The good guys aren't fundamentally right or wrong. Sometimes they can go to extreme length for their goals. I mean yes i am for restoring Eldia but you should at least care for yoour own son. grisha became so devoted to his cause that he wasn't able to show what love meant to Zeke

More recently in the manga, Eren and Zeke traverse Grisha's memories and Zeke sees Grisha's deep regrets. Grisha straight up acknowledges that he was a horrible father and wonders if Zeke could ever forgive him. This essentially means that even Grisha himself considered his own abuse of Zeke to be worse that Zeke's turning them in to Marley. Grisha understands why Zeke did what he did and regrets not being a better father to him. Zeke is visibly surprised to hear Grisha say this and though he may not forgive him he does see that Eren was treated much better than he was, even that Grisha nearly gave up his plan to steal the founding Titan due to his family, but did ultimately do so. Eren and Zeke are half-brothers and two sides of the same coin.
