Amma Sri Doctor Padma Subramaniam, reminded me of my late mother. Love you amma. Thank you for your wisdom and knowledge. We hope we will be able to preserve the knowledge and values in to future. What a start to my day, what a beautiful piece of history that I learnt in the words of the person who had done great amount of research. Thanks again amma for your very thought on writing the note to PM office. This is another example why we should be grateful to Modi's government for empowering us by connecting us to our tradition. I saw one video where one gentlemen from african community talking sadly about how the entire country lost trace of their history and inherited the anglo traditions including their names. He appreciated India overall for retaining our culture and sustaining it even after many generations of occupation. We Indians should raise beyond the boundaries of religion and should genuinely attempt to preserve our history and culture.

Yes it's a pride moment for all Indians. Tamil culture is referred as the tradition of the areas covering today the States of Kerala Tamilnadu Karnataka and Andhrapradesh. Old Tamil was the common language and literature mainly, including the entire culture and tradition. For example Sengol is called "Chenkol" in Malayalam always told with Kireedam (crown).

It is chenkol in Tamil as well. It is just pronounced that way by what has become the dominant pronunciation standard in Tamil Nadu (especially northern part of the state) today.
