Yes, I do agree with SP Vaid. No doubt JK Police is really extraordinary, no comparison to the rest of State police. Really speaking except our Armed forces, the rest of all other agencies, political system, administration, public to face every moment apart from terrorists. Salutes 🙏 JK POLICE

They're overhyped. J&K police was non-existent from 1989-2004. Only Army was there, the situation was brought under control by the army in 2004. J&K police suffered a mutiny in 1993 which was suppressed by the army. The Army arrested 1,500 Policemen for participating in a mutiny in support of terrorists. Even today many lower level personnel of J&K police are compromised. The Army sacrificed 6,000 lives to bring back J&K under control. J&K police don't do much. Only their SOG does some work.
