King Mims I doubt it as the amount of company car tax he will actually pay is dependent on his annual salary. For example, if he falls into the 20 per cent income tax bracket, he would pay 20 per cent of the taxable portion of the car's P11D value. Those in the 40 per cent tax bracket, meanwhile, pay 40 per cent on the taxable chunk of the P11D. Also the cars he has won’t exactly be tax efficient as they are petrol guzzlers and it will also be based on emissions

How do you identify these investments and how do you determine their potential
@AnishvinOfficial6 жыл бұрын
Preet Patel opportunities tend to present themselves but to asses a place like this as an investment obviously takes a lot of time. So many factors play a role from local infrastructure, new transport links, local authority investment schemes, etc. I talk about this in detail in my seminar

Fair play fella, I'm no investor but going into a project of this size in Africa takes balls in my book. Instability, be it economic or political (+ the threat of Al Shabab etc)... im sure youve done your due diligence, hope it all comes good fella
@AnishvinOfficial6 жыл бұрын
Robert Maddock all very fair points, although the landscape in Kenya really has changed. This is coming out the back of another project which was 60 units and proved to be a really good investment. We have a lot of strong repeat buyers so a lot of the time the project is a sell out before breaking ground. But always have to be aware of whats happening, never know what’s going to happen in a Third world country.
@robertmaddock83006 жыл бұрын
I guess ultimately no risk no reward and you've clearly measured the risk. The apartment layouts look great, the double height ceiling would sell it to me. All the best fella.

Do find it hard to believe there are buyers for circa 170 luxury flats in Nairobi. Where is the money coming from?? Interesting to know what the values are.
@MrXtrodinaire6 жыл бұрын
Well, there's expats, foreign investors, CEOs/business types, tenderpreneurs, corrupt politicians & government officials, south sudanese generals, tax dodging somali traders and a whole lot of other buyers. Plenty of cash to go around.

We call it the Kadogo Economy , The larger East African region has a population of 400 million People ... Nairobi is more or less the Hub of Commercial activity for a large part of this Population. There's plenty of opportunities and lots of money in circulation.
