Anita has such a rare mix of gorgeous tone, power, and range! What an added bonus that her music has and will always stand the test of time! Some of the newer artist need to evaluate their material and ask themselves is this something people will listen to 20 years from now? Her legacy is just awesome.These artist don't care what type of legacy they're creating. Some female artists may be more popular, or sell more records but will never be mentioned in the same category as Ms. Baker!

i can remember hearing this song after a day of hanging out with my family at Opryland. We's usually spend the entire day there. So, when we left, it was about 10pm, when the quiet storm was on. I have always loved this song, the majesty of it always got to me. And, even though we'd be discussing the day, the rides we rode and whatnot, I'd still be taking this song in if it happened to come on. It always felt good hearing this song after spending the day at Opryland with my family:)

i remember when everyone that sang back in this day...could be identified by their voices, mariyah, anita, lisa, whitney, sade, patti, chaka...it's hard to tell anyone apart these days...bunch of autotune...even the younger singers like brandy, monica, aaliyah...you could tell their music apart from one another...i have my 15 year old listening to 80,90 and 00 music,and he would be like oh mom that's anita baker huh, or janet jackson, or barry white or el debarge...very proud of him...
