My granddaughter was thrilled to meet Anita Doberman in 2023 at a Christmas fair in Kent, unfortunately Anita wasn't feeling well and only stayed at the church fair for approximately 20 minutes but was so kind to sign pictures and take photos with fans. Near the end of the Christmas fair and whilst trying a piece of Christmas cake Anita Doberman vomited in front of all the party guests causing much commotion and distress for other visitors to the event. Thankfully Anita was escorted away from the party and into the first aid tent where she received treatment and reassurance from staff.

Brian is a national treasure, and this lady is a gtreat actress.I saw Brian in 1986 in a Camberley arcade of all places where his son Jimmy was playing the machines.Lovely down to earth guy, I didn't have any records with me so he signed his beef and onion crisps packet that he was munching through.Still have the crisp packet today.zThe doctor must make it to 100.

Anita has always been underrated as an actress - we were at same drama school and I recognised the breath and depth of her versatility - alas not seen in same light by many casting directors. Also an excellent classical actress and should have played Electra, Lady Macbeth, Queen Margaret (Richard III) with RSC and in the west end but, to my certain knowledge, never asked.

In all my 63 years i have never met or seen any abuse of any woman from their husbands , I’m sure there are people who go through this violence and as a man i just find it difficult to even contemplate hurting a woman physically , why would a man who loves his wife even do that . I have been married for 41 years , it hasn’t always been smooth sailing but when things get tough we sit down and talk it out and we move on together, we don’t belittle each other or verbally abuse each other ,we just talk it through .
