Although a small composition as compared to Handel's other oratorios, this is a 'gem; shining brightly with its glorious melodies and exciting orchestration. This performance by 'the sixteen' is divinely inspired with great voices such as Chance, Randle, Padmore,George, Argenta et al The choral work is very fine as is the instrumental contribution. I love this work and Chance's song 'O Jordan, Jordan.' is sung with such fervor, it has become memorable to me...
