I wasn’t originally looking at Anji as a main as he was described to be a low tier character I believe, but after watching this video only a little bit, this makes me want to main Anji.

@Silhouette-c5q Anji being a Low tier is kind of an old stigma from season 1 and 2, since season 3 and into season 4 Anji is in a much much better state (someone reached Top 5 with him at EVO this year!).

This video is a masterpiece, makes me proud i chose Anji as my main. I thought i knew everything about the character, but you managed to give me new information to play around in literally the first 5 minutes of the video! As for any feedback, i wish you would go more into the usage parts for some moves, like how you can condition your opponent into not going for safejumps or oki at all when you have meter and then punish them for it, or how you can use parry after nagiha on certain ranges if the opponent is trying to punish with a slower move, although the video is already really long, so i could see why really specific strategies were left out

Fantastic 56 minutes of combos, though here's some small misspelling -- j.S text written to 2S on top left ; Kou 's kanji is 紅 , Fujin - 風神 ; Nagiha - 凪刃, spin - 水月のハコビ (just in katakana), shin ( that is fine but this will be cooler) 針:一式 - 針:壱式 , I really like your art on every move , so cool!

one thing you didnt talk about is that a lot of j.h safejumps from rin actually let you frametrap with c.s because they land on the 2nd or 3rd active frame, or that IADFD j.s lets you tight string into it.

Really appreciate the love and effort put into the video, love it!! One question, regarding CH fs > (236h)s > cs > dcc 236s > dl.jk > micro dash 5k > dcc 236h > h > iad jh safejump route. It seems the jk has to be very low otherwise the iad jh won't be safe against 9f reversals. Is there any other detail or other variation to make this safejump more consistent?

It seems keeping the micro dash 5k as short as possible is one way to compensate, without the frame mod it's so hard to visualize the gap haha.

Where is the damage counter? I never see it in combos videos, is it not important to know how many damages these combos really do?

I like for people to discover the damage while they learn and do the combo, but I also think it's more important to know combos rather than damage. We want consistent damage, rather than constant damage.

A general rule of thumb: P Combos = Low Damage K Combo = Low/Mid Damage S Combo = Mid/High Damage HS Combo = Mid/High Damage Combo with specials may vary depending on the move (it can be low or high damage) and Supers are generally High Damage and cost 50%-100% Meter
