Wow. A very useful video. I'm using it for Arabic now. I will use Anki for Arabic until you release it in the App. Thanks!

Great. I appreciate the logic of your tutorials and your model decks. I will be testing out how effective this system can work to learn Italian.

So once you have encountered "parler" in the many other tenses. When you encounter that sentence, how do you know if she "Speaks", "Spoke", "has spoken", "will speak" by only seeing that sentence. In my deck (learning spanish), I also define the tense to conjugate the word in.

Hi! "Couramment" becomes rare in French. Couramment s'entend rarement dans la vie quotidienne, mais on emploie plutôt "souvent". "Elle parle souvent un charabia incompréhensible!" Thanks for your videos & ideas!

jakari I think in this case the sentence is " she speaks giberish fluently" in which case you can't say "souvent" but have to use "couramment". If you want to say"often", then yes "souvent" is more appropriate these days.

+jakari C'est faux. Le mot « couramment » est plutôt commun. Il est couramment utilisé. :)

+Willy B. Au sujet de la définition, si tu cherche le mot dans le dictionnaire, tu va trouver qu'il y a deux définitions. L'un d'eux est « facilement » et l'autre est « de façon courante ». « Souvent » et « couramment » sont donc synonymes, quoique comme n'importe quel synonyme, il y a des nuances.

When coming across another verb type e.g. past tense. Would you use "parler" again or use a different verb that follows the same pattern. Basically would you create examples for the different verb tenses using previously learnt verbs.

Hey Gabe, question. How would you organize your decks in Anki? Would you do 1 deck for each verb, or a deck for each gramatical rule or verb conjugation. I'm confused how to get started. How did you organize your decks? Thanks

Hello and thanks for very useful video. I have one problem tho...When I want to create 2 cards to learn a new word/phrase it says "The front of this card is blanked" instead of the word given. Do you have any idea how to fix this problem? Thanks for your time :)

hi, Gabe. I ran into a small issue on using google image. When i search my word using the basic google image mode , the caption always appears too short to be a sentence. For example. The caption for Hund will just be like " May i with my dog on .... ". Is there a way to make the caption longer so i don't have to click on the image , access the full article to find out what story is behind it?

Hi, First off, I've read your book and have been using your method for the past month to learn French and not only is it working well, its really quite fun. Two questions: 1. Do you think it is beneficial to deliberately attempt to learn conjugations or just add as many different examples into my deck to pick them up through exposure? 2. Should self-directed writing be thinking in French and attempting to create something only using French or could it be useful to translate some of my college papers into French after having written them in English and then submitting those "new" papers for corrections? Thank you very much for answering if you get the chance!
