OMT seems to have a role as an adjunct to RICE. If you are capable of performing OMT, it is important to provide the best treatment for your patient, beyond simple RICE. OMT has been proven to be beneficial in acute ankle sprains as shown by the evidence provided in “Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment in the Emergency Department for Patients With Acute Ankle Injuries” by Eisenhart et al. in the JAOA.

some kid slid into my leg and now my fibula hurts. at first i couldnt walk(three hours ago) but now i can jog with a bit of pain. the pain comes when i either push on the fibula or twist my foot in circles. can it heal in the next 4 hours i replayed the video and the doctor dude mentioned for a couple weeks. im done for

speak english quit using all your fancy medical terms and explain it in a way that actual makes sense to people who aren't doctors this video was no help at all

The video is directed towards doctors and medical students. Complaining about the jargon they use is like going to school Mexico and being upset that they teach classes in Spanish.
