Miss Katy totally delivers the right vibe here...And having read some of the uncharitable comments below I'd say - she takes about 2 lines to get into the groove (with no warm-up) and delivers a languid and beautiful rendition... Anton's shrug at the end was like "Hey - guys - how cool is my wife..!" He had his back to her throughout the song as he was taking a well-earned break from the mike, and was jamming with his buddies and he knew she had it. Ms Katy nails it....

To those who said they made mistakes: 1) Who told you that they have not deliberately changed the song and made "mistakes" 2) A mistake made by a good artist is more interesting than a correct thing made by a mediocre artist ... because inside his "mistake" you find other true art. 3) If you don't want to find "mistakes", put the cd in your player, don't go to live shows and don't comment live on you tube. Usually those who find mistakes in concerts are people who know how to play and have cover bands or tribute bands and they close themselves in their bedroom and after playing a song 1000 times, they are able to imitate a song to perfection. This is a nice thing but it has a lower value than the free interpretation of a piece or to create a new song . I don't know how to play any instrument ... but since I was a kid turning freely on the radio I discovered for myself, people like Jimi Hendrix ... or George Gershwin and many others ... without knowing that they were great.

@@WingsWithFeet You don't understand what you're hearing. You're comparing her to just any old singer. She's doing that languid, bending the pitch sound on purpose, for effect. It's really brilliant, most people couldn't do it if they tried, don't have the talent.
@serenatwilite4005
@serenatwilite4005 2 жыл бұрын
Matt Lechner Yes, a perfect way of describing it. People who think she isn't trying or isn't good enough aren't getting the talent she has. It's not easy to sing like that, especially with any volume - and they don't have her mic'ed loud enough, especially in the beginning. The loud guitars are drowning her out. I I think I know how I feel 'Cause I I only play it for-real You should be picking me up Instead you're dragging me down Flying over my head You're landing all over town You You know that I try Try to tell you the truth Oh baby don't make me cry You should be picking me up Instead you're dragging me down Now I'm missing you more (more) 'Cause baby you're not around Now that you're not around I I want to know how it feels 'Cause I I only play for-real You should be picking me up Instead your dragging me down I could be giving you love (love) But you're not around Glad that you're not around Glad that you're not around Glad that you're not around Glad that you're not around Glad that you're not around Glad that you're not around Glad that you're not around Glad that you're not around Glad that you're not around Glad that you're not around Glad that you're not around Glad that you're not around Glad that you're not around Glad that you're not around

being in a band, i'm always hyperfocused on a band's live performances to observe how the dynamic works onstage. i'm new to the BJM, but their live presence is absolutely bizarre because there is no stage presence at all, yet i am completely entranced by it. watching these dudes, who look completely strung out on some serious shit, stand completely still and play very imperfectly absolutely works with this band. i've never seen a tambourine player stand so still and be so stoic. it's kinda unnerving. but in a really intriguing way?? i need to watch more???? because i like this?????

TheRover1977 Me I just kinda go with it - and yea sounds good so who cares how they get there. Anton is not a great technical guitarist but comes up with lots of great sounds and riffs. Check out “Pish” which is one of BJM’s go to songs.
