Never been a Hathaway fan but her catwoman was flawless and deserved more recognition. The callback to the original 60s costume in the hairstyle and bodysuit are fantastic, and she is very convincing as a baddie.

I guess the only reason some people are so intent on disliking this version of Catwoman is because of the ever ongoing Anne Hathaway hate trainwagon. Her performance is nothing short of masterful. Slinky and slithery as as cat burgler should be, but you can clearly see she is good at heart and has simply been hardened by less than graceful circumstances. Her acting lets you know at every second just how dangerous she can be when cornered, all while letting off a sutble vocal fry as a subdued referrence to her classic purring incarnations. I get people disliking Nolan's hyper realistic take on the batverse, but could hardly imagine a more perfect way of translating the character into it.

Anne Hatheway did a great job as Catwoman but they should let her retain her catlike movements even fighting. During the rooftop fight there are no flexible movements just twirling and kicking. Maybe for the sake of realness or some technicality, I don't know. But it felt something's missing. Even jumping to Batman's batmobile they did not let her jump gracefully. They only let her showcase the "cat movement" when she's escaping bruce wayne's mansion and in the jail scene when she cartwheeled to break an inmates hand. But don't get me wrong anne did a fantastic job playing as catwoman. But the movie failed to showcased why catwoman was called catwoman. She was known for her catlike movements that features flexibility, sexy but agile movements and a personality that ooze with confidence that made bruce wayne fell inlove with her. The femme fatale.

And the fact that she is a minor character is terrible. She's kinda useless in the movie. During the few screentimes she had she was about to be ended by a dumb coward like Daggett who foiled her with the cleanslate

I can see this point but also this is realistic batverse. Comic catwoman has almost superhuman agility and dexterity. Same with Batman. This bat was more tech and wasn’t Superman built physically either. Anne did ok for the job imo. Also. You try walking in heels much less running and fighting lol

Read my comment again. Also, if they want to highlight the realism in The batverse, they should have let Anne wear flat shoes instead of heels. Selina Kyle was a burglar at a young age, harnessing her ability which made her agile and flexible, albeit wearing heels, but not to the point of almost being a superhuman.

@@CupidCrux the movie should take reference of selena kyle's background in the comics on building her character. Lol and she need not to be sexy when jumping during an escape, I said GRACEFULLY. If you have read the comics selena kyle is well accustomed with such scenarios but on the movie she look like an amateur been caught on that situation for the first time, rushing to escape gunshots. It seems like her confidence in her ability evaporated the moment batman showed. Anne did a great job playing the role despite the movie not showcasing what catwoman is known for. If you have read the comics, you will know why catwoman is called catwoman. And if you read my comment carefully you will understand my point.
