Anna K Tarot Card by Card Comparison of Self-Published 2nd Edition and Llewellyn Printing

As requested, here is a comparison of my two editions of the Anna K Tarot - the self-published 2nd edition and the mass market Llewellyn edition. This is a full flip through so you can have a good look at the differences (however minor!), so I hope you enjoy!

Thank You! Now I know I prefer the self-published one. Don't like how the Llewellyn cards have washed out the colours, and the depth is absent at times, for example the sky of the Fool. Prefer the colours on the self-published, especially the blues and yellows are more beautiful. So glad she still got some for sale, since I sold my mass produced last year.

I skipped on buying this last week due to the box was crushed. Should've bought it anyway. I never saw a review on it, but when I saw the Knight of Cups on the side of the box, I knew I had to have it. Oh hell I'll just go back tomorrow and get it.☺

I've always wondered what the self published Anna K deck was like - thank you for doing this comparison video! I have the Llewellyn one, but now having seen the self published version I'm thinking about ordering it. I really like how subtle the titles are, and the size is great! In a perfect world I'd prefer thinner card stock, but I guess you can't have everything lol :D

Thanks for this, Katey! I've got the self-pubbed version (#2) and HAD the Llewellyn, but found it a little jarring compared to the slightly more subtle self-produced version. It's great to see them side by side and to hear your commentary. Also, re: The Hermit, in the self-pubbed version, it looks like twilight, to me, where in the Llewellyn the sky seems to imply dawn.

I have the first edition, generously gifted tome by someone on an online forum....and I also bought the mass market one. The self published is far better, I just like the way the cards feel. And yes, the 2nd edition is still available on the Anna K site.
