Yes, I got it and it's my go to deck also. It's so sweet in communications the messages, I always understand them and I use it when I'm at my lowest because it's going to catch the root of my issue and deliver it nicely and clearly. What a great deck. And the book is great, both the interpretations and the spreads in it.

One of the best decks to read from. I do read reversals, so I just use my own normal reversal meanings. But this deck is so easy to immediately relate to. There are a few cards which I particularly love, and a few I'm less fond of. But in general, this deck is pretty flawless.

I love this deck also - and agree with you about the 8 and 10 of swords - so well done! The use of bright yellow and blue really makes the images pop! My favourite images from this deck are the Hermit and the World ♥ I haven't edged mine yet, but I do have some black soot, so I think I"ll do that soon!

Love this deck did the interview spread you suggest for Ann K Tarot and the Wisdom of the Oracle they were amazing. I find the oracle will only be a personal one and I am not sure I will use Ann K Tarot for anyone either. Hope you are having a wonderful day.

+Merwenna Yellow happens to be my favourite colour! There is certainly quite a bit of use of the more primary colours in this deck, such as the bright yellows.

So glad to know that she still has a self-published version of this deck. Sold! This is a deck that I had in my stock for many many years from Llewellyn. it didn't really spark my interest because of some of the artwork and nobody seems to be interested in buying it. I finally went ahead and added it to my collection this last year and opened it up. I was Sooo... pleasantly surprised and found it an absolutely beautiful deck. I use it regularly because of the emotion that seems to be in the faces of her characters and clearly is conveyed in a reading.

Haha fair enough! I know when you look at just a few of the cards, it can seem like it's not the 'prettiest' deck, which is why I mentioned that at the beginning. But once I had the deck in my hands, I really appreciated how well it works as a whole. It really feels like a story book. :)

Hi, Katey, Thank your for the warm, informative, intelligent review! I have ordered the cards from Llewellyn (free shipping due to another free Amazon Prime trial!). I considered ordering them from the author, but one reviewer said even though the cards feel a bit more durable, they actually aren't much sturdier than the Llewellyn version. One reason I bought the deck is that I was totally impressed by the fact that the art is, if I understand Anna's website correctly, done with colored pencil! Is this your understanding, too? Thanks again!

I've often thought about getting the independent edition, too, but I can't quite justify the cost considering I already have the deck! I've also heard that the colours are a bit murkier and darker in the original. As for the coloured pencils, yes, that has always been my understanding! I haven't looked into it all that much, so please don't quote me! But I think the art is just so precious and lovely :)

Great review. This is my absolute favourite of my current decks. Another thing that's nice about it, is that if reading for people they can see what you are reading in the cards. It isn't all mysterious unknown that it can be with other decks, if that makes any sense. How did you blacken the edges? Sharpie? I want to do that. My deck has been used so much the edges are scuffed.

+Ginger Fyre That's a wonderful point! It would make a more collaborative reading style very easy! I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Black Soot. It comes as a little ink pad and I just run the sides of the cards along the pad. It can get a little messy, but I think it's totally worth it! :)

Hi Katey (I'm your kitty kahane swap)😁. This deck, along with the mystic dreamer tarot, was the first deck I bought and it's still one of my favourites. It definitely helped me to learn the tarot and I agree that the book is fantastic, I also read it from cover to cover. One of my favourite cards is the two of swords. After I watched tarot oracle's review I bought Anna's self published edition too which is absolutely beautiful! I took the old black sharpie to the edges on my Llewellyn edition which looks fantastic and it has made the deck feel a little heavier. I noticed that you've done yours too, what did you use?

Katey Flowers well I think the self published edition is really well worth getting, the cards stock is fantastic! I love it and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone 😁 tarot oracle's review is a great one for a good close up of the cards, it was his review that sealed it for me lol! I think I'm going to invest in a few Tim Holtz inks for my decks, probably better that permanent ink for the cards. Oh I do hope you will love the kitty kahane and druidcraft 😃 I'm really excited about the mythic tarot too 😁
