@@sivasankarshakthivel5852 On initial glance it looks like Indian tv serial.. But as you proceed you come to each character very intimately, from this character you question philosophical questions about what's love, honour etc.. Also this gives intimate favour to Russia at that time.. Interestingly as Indian we can relate to many of this things...

This reading is phenomenal! So many of these publicly available renditions are un-listenable! Simple and natural is the way to read a great work of literature - allowing one's own voice to vary subtly in tone and tempo to express character rather than affecting ghoulish or cartoonish caricatures! A perfect example of the latter is the reading of Pride and Prejudice; it is beyond horrifying!

I came to this masterpiece fairly late in life- 33 or 34 years of age. This "society novel," as I believe Thomas Mann called it, fascinated me no end and a chapter a day was read before focusing on work. This may have been the way that the original readers read it, though on a weekly basis as it probably was serialized (this was common with the great Russian authors of that time and place). That scene in at the skating rink, whereby Levin decides to court Kitty, will be forever etched in my memory as will the idyllic time when Levin is staring at the stars after a day's work in the fields. And who can ever forget Anna's first sighting of Vronsky at the train station!
