I love discovering new sounds and approaches to musicality. This was a delight. It was funny how the drummer/percussionist seemed like he was sleeping for the first part of Nautilus and then came awake with a deep, resonating rhythm. Their chemistry is also great. Great stuff! Gotta love Tiny Desk!

It's just odd time signatures and they're not all playing on the same time signatures either. It's the same kind of thing that ledzep would do at times (Except they did it in a way that you wouldn't notice really unless you took time to count out the beats of each musiciain), It's really cool stuff

I liked the first tune. (The only one I watched.) its more rhythmically challenging than what's happening in pop music right now. Once the drummer woke up it seems this song turned into a mirror version of led zepplin's cashmere (descending run by ochestra at 5.13 mark). take ya cashmere sweater - turn it upside down and inside out, put through a washer drier with some acid wash jeans and you just might get this crazy moment in time and space.
