Almost heaven, West Virginia! Today I’m painting for my home state in a WVU-colors clock!

I’m painting on an old vinyl record for this clock, using a split cup and a ring pour technique. Even though my hand was too shaky to get a clean ring, I totally love how it turned out!
All my paints are mixed with Elmer’s glue-all and water (60% glue, 40% water). Rather than having a set ratio, I just added the glue mixture to the paint a bit at a time until it reached a medium consistency!
Titanium White (Creative Inspirations)
Phthalo Blue (Master’s Touch)
Metallic Blue (Artist’s Loft)
Primary Yellow (Blick Studio Acrylics)
Metallic Gold (Creative Inspirations)
