I have severe anxiety..and it's the worst feeling in the world..your brain is fighting with your body..and how do you win over your brain when it controls your body ya know? You could be fine but your mind says otherwise for no reason..then your hands go numb and you know what's about to happen, you're about to lose control of yourself and there's nothing you can do..there's a voice telling you everything is fine but your brain is saying "you're not okay you're gonna die" it's a hard thing to conquer and you never really do, even doctors will tell you that you just need to learn how to cope and learn how to ignore your brain telling you that you aren't ok, you have to learn how to deal with panic attacks and just do breathing exercises that only half the time work..it's a brain disorder and it effects every part of your life..even now when I'm planning vacation I have to take my anxiety into consideration because I know I'll have to be in a car for so many hours and cars are one of my triggers even though I know I'll be ok..I pray it'll stop one day but I'm starting to think God has a different plan for me..my anxiety does not define me but most of the time it does control me whether I want it to or not. Anxiety is no joke and I pray that in time no one will have to deal with this ever.

For any of us who's experienced addiction whether alcohol or drugs and no how powerful it is and how easy it is to relapse especially when dealing anxiety/depression this really speaks to the struggle and how you can feel when your clean and fighting everyday. I was glad to listen to this feeling so close to a relapse myself. Just to remind me what I'm fighting for. Anna you are one persons who has a story that was meant for people to hear, so relatable, so thanks for sharing with us your struggle it truly helps to know we're not alone.

I just wanted to say that Anna Clendening is an incredible women even tho suffering with extreme anxiety. I do too, like when I had my first audition on December 9th, 2016. The Winter Dance Show.
