Oh, that's fascinating! Mitra Hejazipour is an Iranian Grandmaster who plays for France, just like Alireza Firouzja. And let's not forget about Grandmaster Atousa Pourkashiyan, who is also Iranian but represents the USA in chess.

@@theMcWOPPERLots of political pressure including the issue of compulsory hijab for female players, Mitra was fired from the Iranian national team in 2020 for refusing to wear a headscarf, Sara did the same in 2022 and couldn’t go back to Iran afterwards.

@@theMcWOPPER When you are a player from Iran, you can't play against players from Israel. And so, you loose your game each time you are paired with an Israeli. And for women, they have to wear the headscarf. And Mitra didn't accept it. She was fired from the Iranian national team in 2020 for "removing her headscarf (hijab) during the World Rapid & Blitz Chess Championship in Moscow". Hejazipour said that the hijab is a "limitation, not protection, as official regime propaganda claims." She is a strong player and courageous person.

Wow what an interesting game I could feel the pressure through the screen. We all can see what mistakes we make after the pressure and stress are gone.

3:54 now, that is exactly your mistake. In a classical game, you would spent so much time thinking that you would end up losing on time. If you watch Super GMs playing against weaker opponents (i even saw that with you i think) you can see that they quite often get a worse Position early on. As you learned in this game, even strong players do make a lot of mistakes. There is absolutely no point in overanalysing a Position, cause the opponentens you face will most of the time not find the winning move faster than you.

New to chess still... so can't figure out the miss you had on her "blunder". If you took the pawn on b3, wouldn't she just need to take it back with her "a" pawn? Is that bad for her still since the "a" file is open now?? Or what is it????
@cyclingdelights
@cyclingdelights 3 сағат бұрын
After Black takes on b3 with axb3, if White had taken back on b3 with the a-pawn, Black would take White's undefended Bishop on a3 with the Rook, winning a free piece. White wouldn't have time to move the Bishop to safety or defend it with the Queen because Anna's b-pawn would be able to take the Rook on c2.

I think the French lady had an unfair hygiene advantage not having to shave or wash up, just throwing on some cologne, so she had much more time to prep, imo, hence the earring distraction strategy!

Anna, I love your content! You are helping me in my meditation by describing all your chess moves and knowledge! Your mention of your opponents attire, then your own T-shirt. Ok ok ok … maybe “maybe” you might try dressing up as a way to impress your opponents and audience. I’m not saying, all the time. My daughter is 21. She’s off in England for a semester for college. I took her thrifting before she went. We got some really nice things! A little dressy. She left most of them … Anna, you’re so beautiful. Clothes effect other people’s perception of you and also effects you own perception of yourself. You are a great champion! Your mom is her own champion. My daughter needs to separate herself from her idea of other people. Become secure in her own persona. Anna, eres muy exitosa lo que piensan los demas te tiene que valer “nada”. Abrazos desde Santa Fe, Nuevo Mexico, USA.

Anna loses yet again. This time to a inferior women's player. Anna plays women's tournaments which means she wants women to be looked at as inferior. And yet she still can't beat any players here😂😂😂 anna is soooo bad at chess.
