冬は極寒、夏は酷暑の京都で、事始めの時も８月の八朔の時も芸舞妓さん達は同じようなお召し物で涼やかな笑顔を浮かべて挨拶回りをなさっている。（ように私には見える。）舞踊や音曲や立ち居振る舞いの訓練だけでもむろん大変な日々だが、私にはこの「暑い寒いを一切顔に表わさない」振る舞いの訓練こそが最も過酷なのでは、といつも感心するばかりです。 （令和3年12月13日）

地域や時代背景、多忙な社会など様々な理由はあるのでしょうけど、事始めという歳事をすでに日本人の多くが忘れてしまってますよね。自分も言葉自体は何となく聞いた事がある程度でその意味や中身についてはまったく知りませんでした。 こういう古くからある日本の歳事も祇園の方々は今もきちんと継承しているのですね。 時代と共に日本の名工や名人と呼ばれる高度な技術を持った方達も次世代を継承する人間が居ないが為に、その技術そのものが消えていっている中にあって、祇園の芸舞妓さんやそれに携わる方達はやはり稀少な存在。 古き善き日本の伝統と習慣を守る意味でも、祇園の方達にはこれからも頑張って頂きたいです。 今回も素晴らしい動画をありがとうございました。

現代人からは「古い」「意味ない」で片づけられそうで悲しいです。今事始めは自分が知ってる限りでは花街とヤクザぐらいしかやってない（その他伝統文化の業界もやってるかもしれません）です。

The first geiko who walked out of her okiya with her maiko younger sister behind..was so cute. How are the hanamachi faring during the pandemic though? Wish they had a website saying who's who in the geiko world now cause I dont know anyone lol

今回は４花街お廻りなされて秒刻みの行動だったのでは？ 編集など今までとは違った感じで，移動撮影では不思議な感じがしました．　 先斗町の姉さん衆は先斗町の小路に映えますね． どういうわけか各花街色がでますね． 秀好ちゃん見せ出ししたと思ったら，事始めで忙しい日々ですね．

Ookini Anna for posting this. How'd you manage to get into the Inoue studio? It's great seeing the geimaiko, especially giggling Mameharu, in such a relaxed atmosphere. Yachio V looks wonderful and has such a good rapport with the girls. Thanks again for sharing this enjoyable video.
