I did this everyday for 2 months and finally got my middle splits!!! I was SUPER not-flexible before (had a hard time reaching my toes) so u'll probably get this faster. But this was SO worth it!

I am keeping my progress here day1: I did the streches and tried the middle split with 4 pillows I felt a little easy so I removed 1 pillow I felt a little hard but I did it for 30sec and removed 1 more pillow it was so painful but I did it. Day2: I repeated same process I did better but still pains. Day3: This I touched the 2nd pillow. Day4: I removed 1 more pillow did not touched but. Day5: l did the streches 3 time with countdown I touched last pillow. Day6: I removed the last pillow . Day7: same as day 6 Day8: my leg reached close to floor. Day9: l did it I am so happy right now because my gymnastics teacher told me that I am so fat and i can't make my body flexible . I told her that I will come next month with my flexible body I learnt middle split and next i will learn something . I am proud of my self . It's only because of u Anna thanks a lot and pls "don't judge a book by it's cover" plzz.

I'm a gymnast, but I've always been naturally inflexible. I'm on a team that's somewhere between recreational and competitive, but recently my team has gotten more competitive, so my limited flexibility just won't cut it anymore. So, I found this video. This is only my second day and I'm already down 1 pillow from the first day! Was NOT expecting that!!! Hopefully this routine will continue to work! Thank you so much!

@@stateofcreativity2190 took me about 2 months to get my right and left leg splits and 3 months to get my middle (give or take). There is not exact number of days it will take because there are many factors to take into account : flexibility prior to starting stretching, everybody is built different so some people are naturally stiffer or naturally looser (stiffer people will take longer to get it), the amount of stretching you do daily/weekly, certain stretches you are doing and much more. Stick with Anna’s 15 minute daily stretch challenge that she posted I think January 2022 and you’ll have the, in no time! P.S, if you skip more that 3 days in between stretching you will lose a lot of progress and it will take much longer to receive your desired results. Try to limit the breaks to 1-2 days.

2 week middle split tracking! (This is personal progress for myself but it might help) 🌸Disclaimer: I have never had my middle splits and I am using a wall Before the routine I'm about 8 inches above the ground Day 1: I dropped to 5 inches above the ground (also a tip I found is don't use your hands and arms as support like Anna has in the thumbnail but rather grab an object nearby for balance and let gravity do its thing ^^)

So I’ve been trying to get my middle splits for a while now, and I’m fairly close so this video was just what I needed! I can say that after doing this routine for 4 days before I go to bed, I now have my middle splits! Thank you so much Ana! This video definitely helped and I think that everyone should try it! Hey so I’m doing this challenge for as long as it takes for me to get my middle splits (maybe over middle splits). I’m specifically doing this to try to get pretty toe touches for cheer (first competition on October 19th). Here we go! 10/23/22- ✅ (one foot from ground, dog bed, squishmallow, and 2 pillows to hold me up 😂) 10/24/22- ❌ (too busy) 10/25/22- ✅ (10.5 inches from ground) 10/26/22- ✅ (10 inches from ground)

Keeping my progress here! Day 1 : my leg hurts, used 3 pillows Day 2 : still hurts but worth it. Used 2 pillows now Day 3 : my legs kinda used to stretches now, not much pain like day 1 and 2. Still use 2 pillows Day 4 : not much pain! I tried to remove 1 pillow and surprisingly i can the touch pillow a bit! So close! Dear Anna, you are a saviour. I recently got threatened that if I did not get into a flexible shape I would get kicked off my dance team 😞,I did this routine for a couple days and by day 4 I was flat in my middle splits and on the last pillow, I decided to continue and try to have no pillows and by day 10 i did it! I have been working on this for about two months now and I usually do this routine five times a week (sometimes four). I'm not to my splits yet, but I do feel so good after this workout! It is a toughy, but it is really good! I am almost to where my knees touch the ground when I do my "splits". I really hope to get them before the end of summer! I love your workouts and stretches!

Thank you Anna for this tutorial!😍 I'm only on my 3rd day and I already see the improvements. But what I appreciate the most in this routine, is that you teach us the right stretches and for free. thank you soooooooooooooooooooo much Anna McNulty for helping me 😃When i was 9-8 i was a self taught gymnast and when i was running at my club they wanted me to do my middle split and my back bend.When i did my middle split i pulled a muscle and i never got back into it. Now thanks to you for inspiring me i can now almost do my middle splits like my friends!

Progress to middle splits: Day 1: A small improvement, not close sadly Day 2: HUGE improvement, half way there Day 3:Normal improvement! Getting closer!! Day 4: staying on track, doing pretty good! Day 5: late stretching because of being busy, but keep getting closer and closer each time I stretch! Day 6: very small improvement.. getting better at butterfly stretch! Day 7: closer! I got a good butterfly stretch now! :) Day 8: starting to touch the ground!! Let’s go!! Day 9: SO CLOSE!! BIG IMPROVEMENT AGAIN!! Day 10: Im at least 1 inch or less than 1 inch off of the ground!! Day 11: I was super tired so i did the stretches poorly and I'm still about an inch off the ground Day 12: still kinda the same place but a tiny bit lower! :) Day 13: getting better! Day 14: did poorly since I couldn’t use a wall but I’m still in the same place! Day 15: I stretched but didn’t try my splits as busy Day 16: took a break Day 17: back at it.. but I have some progress to build again! So I forgot to update and I am right now! I quit if for a week, but went back at it.. and GOT THE SPLITS!! Every day I practice I now get stronger and stronger doing them.. Tysm Anna! If your reading this… NEVER GIVE UP!!! You got this!! (P.s: I got my front right splits from this, not middle. I am working on left, and I’m half way to my middles! :))

this routine is so good i've used it a lot and i really am seeing improvement i dance contemporary/ jazz and i really put off getting my middle splits (i already have both side splits and a good oversplit in my right leg plus a relatively flexible back naturally) not giving up and staying consistent is the key! good luck 😍

This routine is awesome!! I’ve done your other split routine videos to get my side splits and it only took a couple of weeks last summer to get there! This is my last year of cheer and I really wanted to get my middle splits. After doing this routine whenever I could (and a few of the last exercises in the video daily) I finally got to the ground today!! Thank you so much for this video, it really works! 💕

Doing this for 2 weeks straight!! Day 1 - done! Day 2 - done!! Day 3 - done, it was a bit harder because my legs hurt! Day 4 - done! Feels a bit easier now! Day 5 - done, was really sore! Day 6 - done! Day 7 - done was really hard! Day 8 - I can now do the last stretch with only 2 pillows! Day 9 - done! Day 10 - done! Day 11 - was really sore doing these stretches but I must say I’ve improved a lot! Day 12 - skipped! Day 13 - skipped! I’m just going to use this routine everyday to try and get my middle splits in 1 -2 months or however long it take me, my flexibility is average but I don’t have any of my splits yet, my middle splits are pretty far off the ground and I’m in my late 20s for reference. I’ve started heels training so I want better flexibility to look more professional and cleaner when I dance. I’ll try to update everyday ! Progress:

I'm a dancer, so I've always stretched multiple times a week, and I always focused on stretches to help improve the elasticity of the hamstrings and hip flexers. I found this kind of funny, but without even trying to achieve my splits when I was younger, I decided to just try them one day, and I was surprised to find that I could do the normal splits, and straddle splits (also called splits in second, or side splits, depending on your art form). For normal splits, I can now do my left split, and an oversplit on my right side. It wasn't until last year that I thought I'd give the middle splits a go, and once again, I could slide into them with ease, and be pressed flat against the ground. I now sometimes just sit in the middle splits casually, because it's comfortable😹 you do have to get past the discomfort of your hips being opened outwards, but it's fine once you are use to that. That entire time, I was able to do the splits without knowing, and l was able to do them because I regularly stretched the hamstrings and hip flexers! Definitely do stretches that target those areas!! Just shows that's anything is possible if you work hard enough to achieve it!! ❤️

I started on 21 Oct 2022. I have tried other routines and nothing has worked so far. With these stretches I managed to go from 31cm from the ground to 27 cm for 7 days, and I think this is a good progress for a person who have never managed to do a middle split or any split at all. Just to mention I am nearly 42 and with a hip impingement but I am sure I will get my full middle split by the end of the year. Will keep posting updates :) 21 Oct 2022 - 31cm 27 Oct 2022 - 27cm 04 Nov 2022 - 26.5cm (not much but I missed couple of days)

ive been doing this for 6 days, and since I lost my middle splits for a while, I'm having to fully restart, I've had to use 5 pillows for the 6 days, But I'm going to keep stretching till I get my full middle splits. That is actually very enjoyable!! During no part of the video did I find myself in significant pain - just a sense of stretching everything out. When the video ended I was like “what? No!” and continued to sit in my middle split for another two minutes because it felt great. My hips feel so good right now. I’m gonna do it again.

@@jonathancobb3522 What I was getting to was that I think Anna does a really good job teaching us to stretch in the correct alignment, which stretches out the muscles without popping the femurs out of the hip sockets. There are some tutorials out there on KZbin that make me feel like I’m going to dislocate my hips any moment - that’s a lot more painful than just stretching out the muscles!

I started this routine yesterday and I've decided that I'll update everyday to stay motivated ( or maybe motivate others too) , getting my split before the end of 2023 is my goal Day 1 - ✅completed it , I obviously cannot do the stretches perfectly but I am somewhere between the modification and the proper stretch Day 2 -✅ same as day 1 Day 3 -✅ Day 4 - ✅ Day 5 - ✅ Day 6 - ✅ Day 7 - ✅ Day 8 - ✅ ........ Day 28 - ✅ these stretches helped me a lot , I still can't get into splits but I am close now .

@@_Lisa_Lili_ I quit dance a few years ago because it was a sort of toxic environment for me. But, you definitely don't NEED middle splits for dance! Stretching in class yes, but actual dancing, no. Doing the middle splits is just a little trick tat can be incorporated into choreography, but definitely not essential.

Got my splits! Took about two and a half months, and it definitely took discipline! I have to arch my back a bit to get into them, but I am happy with the results! And it feels soooo good to finish one of these workouts! Word to the wise: don't push yourself. I pushed myself a bit too hard and was having some pain. First day of not pushing myself with this workout, and I felt AMAZING! Don't try to rush things!
