@@Creedaz I saw all your annapurna videos, including the last five pre visit preparation videos. Amazing work. I am planning for this trail in Dec 2021 or January 2022. I have minimum experience in 2015 feb and dec in Jomsom to Mukthinath trail . Completed it by walk only. SOLO trail. February was in complete snow from temple to khinga , december was, snow in temple only. WIth that confidence I am seriously preparing for throngla pass entry from besishagar. I am 54 years old with normal health. You have done it in eight days it seems ... which I had doubt for me. Can you tell me how many days maximum we can get permit for this trail Beshisagar upto jomsom.? 15DAYS i need..... Is it possible to get permit.. Thank you ji.

@@Creedaz can you recommend short trails for beginners near delhi
@Creedaz4 жыл бұрын
I don't know any trails very close to Delhi. But then it is better to hike in Uttarakhand near Dehradun starting from Nag Tibba. I am yet to explore the hills on the relatively lower altitude. It is indeed a good question though, will start researching on the topic. 🙂

Thanks! Great video - I’m currently away from home and haven’t been able to go back in a long time because of covid (international border restrictions). These videos help me fantasise about when I’ll do a trip to the Himalayas next. While starting your channel and making these videos, I think you would have thought to yourself about which approach to take - 1) Make raw, videos without any video effects and music - like you do currently 2) Add video effects, music and make it like a short movie Have you ever considered switching to the second approach? Also, have you considered showing more of your personal pov in these videos - like what you and the person you’re traveling with is feeling in different moments during the trip (showing their expressions etc.), how you’re feeling at different points of time, what you guys eat at different stoppages (like in the ACT, it will be helpful for me when I make the trip next year) - I feel like stuff like that makes the audience more connected to the videomaker and they start seeing you more as a friend rather than a decent videomaker
@Creedaz2 жыл бұрын
I don't have any motivation to shift to the second approach. I really love making these video logs and keep them more real. And yes, I agree with you. I will definitely try to put some POV shots and some second/third person shots making sure that they are balanced in the overall video. Thank you for the suggestion Sid. Glad you shared your experience and posted such a beautiful comment. Means a lot. 🫂

Is it advisable to drink water from natural sources, because there are chances that the water might contain bacteria.
@Creedaz3 жыл бұрын
Please remember that clean water is not clear water. Make sure that there are no human settlements above the water source. Anyways fill the flowing water and not static one. The water from natural resources do contain minerals and could be hard on your stomach. It friend from person to person.

Manav, really great that u r making a day by day video in such a good detail. After the complete series, it would be great if u could make a short video on the basic preps required for the Annapurna circuit. May be include the paperwork formalities, things to carry ( that'll help people not to miss out on essentials and also, avoid over-packing), expected fitness levels and any other useful info.. Do give it a thought..
