Gelish Vitagel LED/UV Nail Strengthener

I've been using this for a several months now and really like it. I've also done a modified version of my adding length with tips and gel polish using this instead of gel polish! I think I might due a tutorial on it even though I have the other one. I apply my treatment polish then use this in place of nail glue to glue on the tip and finish with 1-2 layers of Vitagel and you can't even tell it's fake!

Great video as always one question if you use regular nail polish will the nail polish chipped very fast or do you need to put the vitagel as a top coat to protect the nail polish. Thanks

My nails are easy to grow but I don't have very strong nails unless I was pregnant or when I was in hospital for 7 months so I am so excited to see the results of this product but I don't think any thing actually is going to get nails strong and long except usually alot of moisture on them no nail poilsh or anything

Does it have to be that brand of bond ? Or ant bond wil work?

I had high hopes for this product. It does make your nails feel really strong, but i too found it lifts then peels off in one sheet after 5+ days! Ive tried it 4 times now, was really careful with prep/bond/caping free edge. but still lifted and peeled,which damaged my nails. Ive been using gelish for over a year and they last 14+ days.looking perfect no chipping when i use foundation gel. Now i use foundation gel, 2 coats of Simple Sheer (gelish clear pink) for strength then colour coat. xx

Does it come off easily ? Can you just use efile to remove it instead of socking off ?

I've not used it in years. It's a bit like base coat. But not worth purchasing. Better builder/strength gels on the market now 😄

i'm going to keep watching and i'm sure i will end up trying the product out. so is it okay to paint over them and remove the design without having to remove the gel or will it get tacky and not be smooth? I change my polish at least twice a week, but wouldn't want to have to take this off twice a week.

Dianne Scott try the Gelish Foundation I find that works better.. if you use it with the PH Bond.

awesome if anything i will buy just to use as a patch then!! :D so informative anna! could you please do a video about which buffer is great to use to get off yellowing or a video about getting rid of the yellow. I usually go to the nail shop to have them buff the yellow off my nails, but would really like to try and do it at home or do you already have a vid of that maybe i missed it. The only thing about going to the nail shop is that I feel like the file they are using are too grainy.

We haven't chatted in a long time. We've been more than a little busy. We bought a new house and it was heck packing up all that stuff. Moved in here 2 days after Christmas. Then it was unpacking time - you get the picture. Will all this packing and moving my cuticles look horrid. Should I go have my nails professionally done or can you give me some tips on how to clean them up. Your cuticles are amazing. Hoping to get them like yours. Cathy

Is it ok to always wear this product? Or should you stop once your nails are strong because I was wanting to get this for my grandma to give her a layer of protection to help keep her nails from breaking so often. Is this a good product for that or is there something better ?

how long to we keep our nails in the UV lamp?. it seems it takes a while to get dry.:) i saw yur video and went to buy the gel and the lamp but it takes a while to get dry..

that's crazy i have the same issue with my thumbs I thought it was just me. I can get them to grow then they do the chipping down below the skin line get caught on my hair than i have to cut them down. The strange part its mostly occurs on my left hand. i might have to give this a try, but not a big fan of the 10-15 soak off time. i'm lazy. lol. Great video, very informative!!! Looking forward to the update vid!
