In the 1990's I worked at a home for people who had mental disabilities. A middle aged woman client absolutely loves Anme Murray! So I would often play Anne Mrray music for her and the other residents loved it too. Those who could sang along, or rocked and clapped. Thank you so very much for cheering up their lives for decades! When I was a child riding along with my grandparents the only non-classical cassette in the car was always Anne Murray. Such fond memories. And as I believe John Lennon himself would surely agree, “You Won’t See Me” is to this day the greatest cover of a song of all time.

I like Anne Murray much but CBC-TV especially CBC Radio One no longer represents the majority of Canadians not even near it. CBC Radio One is now way into too much secular lefty liberal political correctness over reality and good common sense !. And CBC-TV for a welcome change how about a tv series where the traditional family of dad mom and their kids and Christianity is portrayed in a positive light that would sure be good !.

For me, Murray is a one-hit wonder. Her song, "Snowbird," was her claim to fame. Other than that, what has she really achieved. She has tried to keep interest in her alive by appearances on John Denver, scouting Jamborees, and anywhere she has an opportunity to be seen on TV.

Are you for real? 55 million albums sold--4 Grammys--a no 1 pop hit on Billboard 100 USA which Shania & Springsteen dont have. She is an iconic living legend. You being a hater is not a good look. Plus--top 10 Billboard AC artist of all time! Elvis favorite female singer. Jerry Seinfeld and Springsteen were each opening acts for her. Lennon said her Beatles cover was the best ever. Elton John said he knew only 2 things about Canada-hockey & Anne Murray! A one hit wonder? Not!!!! 10 number 1 Country hits in the USA, etc.

@@NOUNZYKRANZA Perhaps, in my mind, Snowbird so outshone anything she did since that all else goes over my head. Can you give me one other original hit that she made. NOT re-runs of songs made famous by others. I think perhaps one of my criticisms of Murray is that everything sounds much the same. She doesn't have a great range. I have heard t he same comment made about Nana Mouskouri. After a while, I was told years ago, that her songs all start to sound the same, and I think that is true. She too may not have had a great range.
