Gilbert was infatuated with Anne from the start and boy did he regret teasing her about her hair. I think Gilbert and Anne complemented each other so well. They challenged each other. They cared deeply for each other. They were sweet and kind and firm and honest. Love that

Anne and Gilbert's love story is the greatest one ever, because it started when they were young until they got older. We read the books and saw the movies and witnessed how their friendship started that turned into deeper, surer, true love. Their mutual affection, after trials and tribulations, the ups and downs, jealousies and alI resulted into their union of becoming one. I like to thank Kevin Sullivan for filming the Trilogy of Anne and Gilbert, and I just wish that he continue filming the Love Story of Anne and Gilbert with their children with Megan follows and Jonathan Crombie as the lead roles regardless of their ages. It's impossible now, because Kevin Sullivan "Killed off" Gilbert in "The New Beginning" movie. Too bad!

I love the Anne movies and more people will play Anne and Gilbert but to me Megan Follows and Jonathan Crombie were born to play those roles.There will never be such chemistry between another two actors and there parts again fir Anne. It comes around very rarely. There is acting but chemistry is what makes it shine and Megan and Jonathan had that. RIP Jonathan! We will miss you!

wow Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova from the movie once. I would have never thought of putting this song (Falling Softly) with an Ann and Gilbert video but its very fitting and I love it. Both are extremely good films I could see again and again. Of course Ann of Green Gable is by far the best.

This is a great video for summing up Anne and Gilbert's romance (and Meghan and Jonathan's chemistry) but the music is from another movie, "Once." In fact, it won an Academy Award for Best Song for that movie. Since "Anne" had such a beautiful score by Hagood Hardy, why not use it? It seems wrong!
