The Anne Frank House was established on 3 May 1957 in cooperation with Otto Frank, Anne Frank’s father. We are an independent non-profit organisation that runs a museum in the house where Anne Frank went into hiding and we try to increase awareness of Anne’s life story all over the world, encouraging people to reflect on the dangers of antisemitism, racism, and discrimination, and the importance of freedom, equal rights, and democracy.

I finished reading this book yesterday and I can't agree more with you brother. She was so strong minded and independent in her thoughts and actions. Wish she had survived the war. I got a bit emotional when her diary ended. It felt that she was so mature for her age.

Um absurdo a atuação da Luna. Uma pena essa série não ser amplamente divulgada. Ler Anne Frank é uma coisa, "ver Anne Frank" (e, claro, isso se dá graças à ESTUPENDA atuação da Luna), é um punhal cravado em nosso coração 15 vezes. Dói, dói muito imaginar os medos, os anseios e sonhos de uma menina que tinha toda uma vida pela frente e era inteligente, mortos num maldito campo de concentração. Anne deve estar contente com essa triste, mas bela peça

This is great to watch. I’d love to visit the Anne Frank House but unfortunately due to my disability I’m unable to as I use a wheelchair. So it’s great to see what the place looks like as a museum. Are there any plans for Luna to do an audiobook (luisterboek) of Anne’s diary in Dutch? I’ve tried learning a bit of Dutch myself (I’m English) & would love to hear Anne’s diary read in the language she wrote it in!

Dank u voor deze gedetailleerde rondleiding door het huis. Ik was een paar jaar geleden in Amsterdam, en ik heb natuurlijk het Anne Frank Huis bezocht. Helaas was het erg druk en werden we er gewoon doorheen geduwd zonder dat we alles rustig konden bekijken en op ons in konden laten werken. Het was zo onwerkelijk. Maar het is fijn dat deze plek bestaat! Ik schaam me voor de Duitsers uit die tijd en kan het allemaal niet begrijpen. Een verontschuldiging is ook niet genoeg. Men moet de slachtoffers herdenken en ervoor zorgen dat zoiets nooit meer gebeurt. Maar helaas wordt er nog steeds zoveel gemoord in de wereld. Dank u voor uw geweldige werk. I am not a romantic but smiles and happy faces during the tour made me feel ashamed of myself. Anne’s life is more than a movie. Playing around in a place where people once hid and had hard times seems a bit disturbing and disrespectful to me. That place was more than a film set.

Ik heb voor mijn 16e verjaardag op 1 juni drie boeken gekregen over Anne Frank. Het dagboek, Herinnering aan Anne Frank geschreven door Miep Gies en de uitgebreide biografie van Anne Frank. Ik ben zo gefascineerd door haar leven mede door deze serie. Ik hoop dat ik het Anne Frank huis ooit mag bezoeken. Dat is één van mijn dromen momenteel. Wil trouwens ook even zeggen dat niemand de rol beter had kunnen spelen dan Luna. Ik wou dat ik een beste vriendin had zoals Anne.

I think when you go to places like the Anne Frank House you should be able to look around but at the same time not rush but take it all in and explore properly, looking at everything you've read about in books. I love Russian history especially the Imperial family (so I have something in common with Anne because she loved the Royals too!) and I have been to several of their Palaces but one of the best places was the Governor's mansion in Tobolsk where the family stayed in the winter of 1917/18 (the temperature dropped to -45 when they were there!). Why I enjoyed it there was because it was just Mum and I going round slowly taking our time appreciating it, we had all the time in the world and we didn't have to rush. I was the tour guide going "this is where this happened and that's where that happened etc etc" Mum and I went to the Anne Frank House on another holiday where Mum took one step inside the building and came over all emotional all of a sudden. What I liked was that there wasn't too many people in there at one time so you weren't rushed. We still can't believe we've been there. I really enjoyed this video hearing Luna talk about everything and seeing her reaction to getting the part of Anne was brilliant! I wonder what Anne Frank would have thought of Luna? #Annemargotedithotto🇮🇱 #Annefrankhousevideodiary🇮🇱 #Lunacruzperez🇳🇱

In het begin sliepen Anne en Margot op dezelfde kamer. Toen waren er 2 families in het achterhuis: de familie Frank en de familie Van Pels. Later kwam er een extra onderduiker bij: de tandarts Fritz Pfeffer (een familievriend van beide families). Er is toen besloten dat Margot bij haar ouders ging slapen en Fritz Pfeffer bij Anne op de kamer. Zij werd nog gezien als een meisje, dus dit kon nog wel (in tegenstelling tot Margot, die al een stuk ouder was en die daarom meer werd gezien als een jonge dame).
