Anne, Margot and Auguste van Pels had to leave Auschwitz-Birkenau. Edith remained behind. After a terrible journey, the train with hundreds of women arrived at the concentration camp. The camp was overcrowded, the hygenic conditions were catastrophic and the prisoners were given hardly any food. Margot and Anne became weaker and weaker.

The Anne Frank House was established on 3 May 1957 in cooperation with Otto Frank, Anne Frank’s father. this could be fiction, but the reality is so so close to it. they've researched so well and did their best to recreate those horrible days OUR ANNE had spent helplesly. this is the most touching moment we could ever hear about OUR ANNE. and why I m saying OUR ANNE , is can only be understood by those who are really deeply connected with her till now. and i can never forget MARGO as well, frankly now im more deeply connecting with margo, or, OUR MARGO. I did nothing ANNE but i still feel so sorry, I wasnt even born then, but still, i cry, i weep, i regret, i wish, i could be there for u. you'll always be missed and margo would too.

If I could give Anne and family a big hug, as well as all the other poor peoples… This was such a aweful period! My parents told me a lot about the war. One of my cousins is Jewish and she and her dad and mom nearly escaped transport to one of the camps. She was hidden by good trustful peoples. And she is granny . I love her very much. But so many peoples lost their lives then. Also in the Japanese camps in for example Indonesia…This docu is also applicable for this moment. Look at the war in Ukrain, and other horrible things in this world. Racism about believe, skincolour, gender etc… Will peoples ever learn?

The script is as profoundly moving as Luna Cruz Perez's astonishing performance. Congratulations to the rest of the actors, to the film Director and to everybody involved in the making of these deeply touching movies. My grandfather was in Patton’s Third Army. Which I’ve learned was the part of the army that liberated Mauthausen. The camp where Peter Van Pels died. I don’t know for certain but it’s possible he helped bury him.

This show just came random in my yt recommendation and wanted to watch it as in our book there is a little part about anne frank and her schl life wd teachers and families....however the scene i watched here was immensely heartbrraking! They were tortured even worse than any other animals.. I literally had tears in my eyes watching it!!...huge respect n salute to this little girl, her family and other Jewish ppl who went through all these. It’s sad. Especially considering Amsterdam looks like a beautiful place to live and grow up. Anne, Margot, and the rest of her family had a pretty good life……up until around 1941 when Nazi began treating Jews a lot more harshly than they use to.
