I'll never forget the day we went & got our Samoyed puppy. I had never seen anything so cute before. We went straight to Petsmart to get her a few things & we were instantly swamped by people that could not get over the cuteness of her, some of them were saying that she looked like a little baby polar bear. My life was changed forever that day by getting a great dog who always cheers me up & puts a smile on my face just by seeing her come into the room. I am now & I always will be a very happy Samoyed owner.

The dummy thicc bunny dog I’d lay my focus on Training the right behaviour, instead of learning tricks. I‘d also start my training your new pup „no“ and to spit things out, bc it is gonna eat A LOT. Like everything it sees it will eat. And don’t worry the hard times will pass, so just enjoy this special time in your life and really bind with your new puppy. Also ne prepared for pee and poop in your flat/house, but once your pup gets the hang of potty training, there are rarely any incidents. Oh and barking is completely normal for this breed, our little girl just always wants to tell us, how she feels etc :) Just keep calm in all of these stressful situations. If you need any more help, you can just ask me, I always wished there’d be someone who could help me

LOL! What a fun time! Beautiful animals! I am torn because I love the giant Alaskan Malamute and these beautiful dogs. I had a husky mix in which I loved so much and lost because of age! She was almost 13 years old and was the love of my life and my husband's. He never had a dog before and couldn't believe how wonderful they are. He was totally in love with Lilly. She would follow him everywhere. Even when he was on the lawnmower she would follow him back and forth on our big field. People would always make a comment at the gas station where my daughter worked about the man on the mower and the dog who followed. My daughter would say "yep that's my dad and his Lilly!" I just love talking about her because I loved her so much and miss her dearly. Sorry to take up your time.

thank you so much , i always wanted a Siberian husky , but i lived in florida and i didn't want to torture the dog living in that kind of heat and humidity. Also so many of my friends that have had one , they would jump the fence and run and some people try to steal them because they are so beautiful....i then decided i wanted on the the white beautiful Samoyed. After this video I know I am not the right owner for one. I am 54 now , and I live in Tennessee so there are at least seasons , and i have a tall fence , but I dont like a lot of barking and the energy level would probably be too much for me. I always look into breeds because I never could give a dog up , and i want to make sure that they are a fit with me. Thank you so much for these videos . I am actually not up for a dog at all for I hope a long time to come. I adopted a mixed bread and he turned out to be a medium sized dog and perfect for me...he has been with me almost 11 years and he is a little over 11 years old, he is amazing....I say he rescued me. I love him so much and i hope he lives much much longer , but i couldn't help but watch your videos , when I seen the beautiful dogs . What do you think about mixed breads that may have Siberian husky or Samoyed in them. Dothey still have those characteristics ?

Incredibly beautiful, sweet, obedient, great with small kids and a great floor pillow while I was watching TV. She never left my side and when I DID get my car, she would come with me, lay on the grass while I was rebuilding it. She was the best! ONLY negative, while losing their coat every year, you would see these hairs floating everywhere, no matter how much I combed her. Thanks for great memories! Dan

Samoyeds are incredibly sharp. When I was a kid, the family was out camping. I always had a bad habit of fishing late and wandering far. I had mistakenly left my stocking hat on a rock by the river. Our Samoyed came up looking for me, but only found my hat. She grabbed the hat and ran back to the trailer, whimpering and scratching on the door. My parents were very worried, but all was well when I returned after dark. These are the sort of instances when you form a very tight bond with your dog. The memories will always be with me. ....

I have commented on Samoyed Husky's on this channel before. I grew up with a Male Sam, and he was my best friend as well as a protector from Snakes (we lived in the country, and when I was outside (3 or 4 years old) he always walked in front of me to find and remove anything that would harm me). I got my first Sam when I was 25 upon returning from the first Gulf War. and he was just a four-legged cotton ball that could easily sit on one hand. And it took only 2 days to potty train him, and he meant everything to me. Fast Forward to being owned by Sam number 10. She quickly stole my heart, because I'm home nearly 24/7 due to being a disabled US Army veteran, and I trained her well, but she then self-trained herself to be a service dog (she was extremely intelligent) sadly she owned me for only 10 years, suddenly dying in my arms not long after the Vet discovered that she had breast cancer, and that broke my heart. My mother passed away 6 months prior, and it was her that helped me through it and the holidays. she held on until my birthday, and that was 2011. she was so special to me that I had her cremated, and her ashes will be buried with me when I finally pass. I have always had dogs, and since her passing, my health has been on the downturn ever since then. (I live alone, and never have done very well without the comfort and companionship of a dog) I have wanted to get one last sam, but I have never been able to afford to buy another Sam (aka Family member) nearly 50 years worth of being owned by Sam's so I can not imagine having any other breed in my life. 2019 is going to be a hard year for me due to the effects of Diabetes, and because of that, I need another young female Sam to give me a reason to get up in the morning again and be active again. But 6 years of trying and failing does not look well for me. See my post in the other sam video for some tips, tricks, and advice on Sam's. It's a wonderful breed.

GARY ITS NOT A HUSKY...IT IS A SAMOYED FROM THE SPITZ FAMILY. READING IS FUNDA-MENTAL,

@@abrahamlincoln5035 Husky is a general name for a sled-type of dog. In the 18th and 19th Century Samoyed Husky was the common term for the bred and for good reason because they had been used in expeditions to both poles. but that has changed overtime by breeder's more interested in selling show dogs. (the same people who bred out the many other colors and patterns of the Samoyed. The name Samoyed Husky is still used in some regions (and correctly). My family had had Sam's since before I was born, and as a baby I had a Sam as a baby sitter and then as a best friend (it was common for both of us to be sitting in opposite corners when we got into trouble.. when I would go explore the (back 40) alone at 4 to 5 years old, my best friend turned into a body guard and would remove snakes from my path. In my 50+ years I have been owned by 10 Sam's and I hope I can add one more Sam to my memories as not only a best friend, but also a Service Dog. (18 years in the Army and now a disabled Veteran) I'm very much in need of one. I know a tremendous amount about the bred, and just how close their behavior is to the Wolf. As for "READING IS FUNDA-MENTAL" you might try reading up about on internet edict, such as all cap posts is 1. poor taste, 2. annoying 3. SCREAMING, and screams "low internet IQ" So it's a "FUNDA-MENTAL"" internet rule, so read up on it sometime. As for a Round Two, you might consider looking up "Mensa" because that's what you have to overcome. Have a great day!

@@garygraham4959 YOU ARE WRONG 100% WRONG. The Samoyed takes it name from the Samoyed people iin Siberia, NW RUSSIA nomadic ppl. An alternative name is Bjelkler.

Gary. Knowledge is power..the Samoyed Husky is a MIXED BREED. SO DON'T GET IT TWISTED. THE SAMOYED in the video are PUREBRED NOT MIXED. I've owned Samoyed pup's for 25 years. Gary know the difference and do your research.
