Al verliefd op Anneke toen ik 17 was, concert van The Gathering ergens in de buurt hier. Sindsdien klein zwakje gehouden voor haar, wat een stem!!

Besides Anneke making this song her own, analysing her vocals could easily take up a 45 minute lecture.. that's how good she is. And part of it doesn't even sound deliberately technical. It's just experience. E.g.: her story telling at 2:28 is super sweet before going into an extended note and another at 2:40, both saturating the recording mic with overtones accentuating the presence of her voice. Wonderful and even from the start of her career a groundbreaking artist who keeps amazing her audience.

I wish Anneke would grace us with another tour of England... you're greatly missed. Cumbrian venue or the Yorkshire Dales would be wonderful!
