Annette lived in Utica NY when she was young. Utica is in upstate NY. She is beautiful and Frankie is so handsome. Shame that Annette suffered during the last years of her life. Saw Frankie in Grease in Schenectady, NY several years ago. Always handsome!!!! As part of the senior citizen era, I still remember the good old days. 👍🙂

Frankie Avalon already knew Annette was sick with MS & was such a gentleman, holding her & supporting her. Bless him.
@jameshamilton8245 Жыл бұрын
I saw an interview from the Vicki Lawrence show. Annette had already made her condition public and had started limiting her public appearances to events supporting MS research. This particular day, she didn't feel strong enough to leave her home and she appeared via a satellite connection. During their segment, Frankie revealed that Annette had not known that he had been made aware of her diagnosis from the planning stages for this tour. He had not let her know this when she finally confided her condition a year or so after the tour had ended. Thus, during this interview, Annette was unaware Frankie knew she had MS.

Annette was naturally sexy without having to accentuate it or “play” sexy. She was beautiful, and a lot of that beauty came from within. That’s why so many people absolutely adored her and still do.

Annette was a beautiful, warm person, and so is Frankie. Married to the same woman for so many years, eight children, at least ten grandchildren, he still looks healthy and thirty years younger than his age, thankfully. Feel bad for Annette, happy for Frankie. They were blessed to have each other as a friend.

Always respected and adored Annette. Was deeply saddened when learn of her illness and then her death. Yet, I always detected a bit of sadness in her eyes. May she now be surrounded by true love, true peace and true happiness. 🕊 Adore Frankie.💝
@WoodlandPoetry2 жыл бұрын
How odd that you detected that sad look in her eyes. I always saw it there too. Didn't think anyone else did. But she had so much she was trying to cover up. In her autobiography she said she tried to hide her divorce, her illness, and even flat-out denied she ever had a nose job. She never even realize how manipulated she was by Walt Disney, working 7 days a week - or did she? I always felt like she was a really nice girl who panicked whenever she thought something might tarnish her perfect image. But I don't think it was conceit, I think it was fear. What killed me in her book was when she said she went to Walt Disney to get psychological help for her shyness, and he wouldn't let her because he thought her shyness was part of her charm. How sad. Now to me, that's child abuse.
